> 3 dayFirstly, I don’t use this for work, I am strictly a weekend workman. I have had the same single vertical line red laser level for years and years now, and didn’t use it all that much because it is slow and weak. By the time I set it up and get it level, just to get my one line, a plumb bob is just easier.

> 3 dayThis APEXFORGE X5 Self Leveling Green Laser Level is an adequate budget laser level. It features a 360 horizontal level and vertical fan level. Having both levels running simultaneously allows the user to fix a cross-line on a wall. The laser will self-level up to 1 degree. This means that if the tripod or surface is off by less than 1 degree, the unit can compensate for that. If it is off level by more than 1 degree, the laser will flash, indicating a problem. I have only used it indoors and my approximate max range has been 30 feet. I have not tested this outdoors or at long ranges, but it claims to be visible up to 147 feet. The included swivel bracket has horizontal 1/4 (camera) and 5/8 screw tripod mounts as well as vertical mounting ability with two magnets and two screw holes.

> 3 daySo I decided to grab this leveler because I often made mistakes during constructing around the house, I took on a huge project, renovating my own house, and to be honest with you I wish I would have had this sooner.

> 3 dayFirst of all, Ive got to say how nice it is to have the magnetic feature. WOW. So very helpful and sure beats having to screw on and off each and every time. Got it to hang my paintings, lights to hang overhead and more. This is a very well thought out laser level with so many ways to use and two ways to charge/use. Wireless or with a cord, so its always ready when we are. Great case with wonderful accessories included.

> 3 dayGot for a bathroom tile job and it worked great. The auto level function works great and kept all the tile in line during the install.

> 3 dayI thought this was intimidating (as a DIYer) until I realized it’s self-leveling. It has a magnetic base, so you can stick it to anything metal. It also has tripod threads to attach to most tripods. It is SUPER bright. Green lasers are brighter than red, which is good because we work in well lit conditions. It is excellent for laying tile or wood accent walls - you don’t need to snap chalk lines, just work with the lasers on. It is rechargeable and has a 24 hour battery life. You can also use it while it’s plugged in. Excellent tool!

> 3 dayHas the ability to use multiple tripods and mounting surfaces. Battery life is very good and has a removable battery. Padded carrying case for extra protection. Charges fast. It has a distance compensation that is automatic. Incredibly pleased.
