> 3 dayAbsolutely love the packaging! The vials are great value for what I paid. They even came with a chart on what the tanks numbers should look like.

Greater than one weekAPI tubes work, but they are a pain. Theyre made nice, but are poorly designed. Thy are thin and break easily. Theyre too narrow, and fall over all the time. The caps dont close properly. When you remove the caps liquid always drips down the outside of the tube, so titration tests are a mess. If the test requires much shaking you end up with chemicals leaking out, even if you hold them tight. Im not sure about the accuracy of the 5mil marking. If I fill them with a syringe 5mil is always a bit higher than the mark (the bottom of the meniscus is clearly above the line). It may be accurate for freshwater, IDK. It probably doesnt matter as long as you use the same method each time, but you would like everything to be precise. Titration tests are A LOT easier in a container that is wider and that you can swirl.

> 3 dayThese arrived wrapped tightly in bubble wrap. No packaging as pictured on Amazon. They APPEAR to be the API water testing tubes, but who knows. Surprisingly, not broken. Makes me question if API even sells a package of 6 tubes? Could have bought generic tubes for less if I knew that this was what I would receive. Would not likely order from this seller again. We are down to 1 tube so am keeping these. That may be what they are counting on…

> 3 dayIn my opinion, these are easier to open then the ones that came with the Api Freshwater Kit and its a good thing I bought these because slowing that came in the kit are breaking. But these are worth the money.

> 3 dayTheyre the same exact ones that come in the test kit. I just find it so annoying that they break so easily when trying to get the cap off. You have to be super careful because the cap starts to grip the glass tightly after a few uses, and if you squeeze to hard, the glass breaks in your hand. Ive learned to be ultra careful and gently twist back and forth. Im very petite, with small hands, and Ive definitely drawn blood a couple times after breaking a tube (its fun when you break a tube of chemicals into your hand). Not a good value if they break so easily. Use at your own risk.

> 3 dayWhy do i pay $10 for 6 tubes if the whole kit cost $20 with 5 new tubes. This is insane, especially reviews like must have maybe brain?

> 3 dayThese are a great product in theory. The labels have always been great- as has the seal of the vials. HOWEVER I have ordered these several times because they break SO easily. Do yourself a favor and either get a test tube rack for these or plastic/acrylic tubes or youll end up having to put these on subscribe and save!
