Does anyone have this weird issue where the connector works perfectly to listen to music, but does not work with making calls?

I have an old car that doesn’t support anything but a tape player so I bought these for my apple phone to connect to player for music works great

The first one broke after two weeks of use, the wires came straight out when I pulled the adapter out of my phone. The second one worked for two days. The strain relief is garbage which caused the second one to play in mono and eventually short out completely.

One of the two set stopped working right within a week. Sometimes it doesn’t work at all minimally side doesn’t work. Mic on head set won’t work with this as well. Should’ve just gone to Best Buy.

This product seemed like a good deal ... to convert my old jacks to the new lightening connector for my iPhone ... but this cheapo knock-off doesnt work. I tried it on headphones, a selfie stick, and other devices ... it is worthless. I returned it and got a refund, but I had to deal with the hassle of taking it back and sending it in.

It completely broke in half after 4 weeks of light use.

Does not work with microphone, uneven performance, stiff/unstable connection at lightning end.

Couldn’t hear on these couldn’t turn up volume. To much trouble to send back i through them in the trash

The reason I bought these adapters is because my good headphones have a mini RC jack and I was listening to the sound of my television on my iPhone with the Roku app. Comes in handy for a lot of things when you convert mini RCA jack to lightning male connector.

It just doesn’t work. I didn’t return them, but I can’t use them because they don’t work with the headphones.
