I have lots of Aqara devices on my hub so I wanted to try this smart plug to get the power monitoring function. Its a beautiful plug that only takes one wall socket space if plugged into the top outlet. It paired effortlessly to the Aqara Hub and was visible in HomeKit. To see the power numbers, you have to go to the accessories options and select the plug in order to see the power numbers. I wish it were displayed on the Home card in the Aqara app. In the power monitoring screen, you can set various options such as charge protection which turns the plug off if it measures less than 2W for 30 minutes (to stop charging a cell phone for example) and power-off memory which resumes the state of the plug in case of a main power outage.

I have this setup with a space heater and the Aqara remote so that I can turn the heater on/off from the bathtub and so far it has worked every time with no problem.

I really love all the Smart Home Products from Aqara, they work very with Apple HomeKit , and of course Google Home , and yes of course Alexa also.

This plug is considerably more expensive than other plugs. But it integrates flawlessly with my Aqara Motion sensor. It replaces another all-in-one motion sensor I used for my hall table lamp. The old one failed, so I decided to try this plug-in switch. I love that I can program at both times of operation and light levels so that the lamp doesnt light up all day or whenever a cat walks by. Its worth the extra money for its ease of use. Of course, you need an Aqara Hub, which I already have. Aqara could add an electricity use monitor that other plug-in switches have for half the price. This is the way to go if you have the Hub and sensors and want easy control of your devices.

I wanted to use it to monitor a freezer to make sure it was on. I am not certain why, but it turned off and even though I had it set up to alert me if it was off, it did not alert me. So I am a bit concerned about the contents of the freezer.

Purchased this smart plug to extend the network for my Aqara hub. I have temperature sensors in my kitchen and garage fridges and freezers that were dropping signal. Haven’t had any problems since I plugged this in at my kitchen.

Works great! I love all of Aqaras products and now have several different kinds. Works great with HomeKit, Shortcuts, and automations!

I use this to automate my washing machine (knowing when it is finished) and the power monitoring is consistent and reliable. Havent had any zigbee connection issues either despite being put behind the washer and dryer right next to a wall.

Installed to extend my zigbee range for some door sensors, as well as monitor the power usage of my gas dryer to know when the laundry is ready. Very fast response and precise readings at lower power, it can consistently tell the difference of 0 to 2W when the door is open so the light comes on. Instant pairing and no issues after a few months. It does default to off if the power goes out, couldnt figure out how to configure that from HA. I dont use it for switching the dryer load but in theory this is one of the few meant to handle that kind of load.

Needed range extender for Aqura leak detectors and this did the trick. Works with Home Assistant.
