AquaTeak Patented 18 Asia Teak Shower Bench with Shelf

In a world of knock down veneered chip board furniture, this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. When you first open the box it’s evident. This sustainably harvested wood is solid, heavy, and looks great. Let me say that again, solid wood, The seat is a full 2” thick slatted, curved form of solid teak. It looks so much better than the veneered (pardon me) junk sold as tables and cabinets with veneer over MDF or whatever substrate. The stainless steel hardware is a uniform size for all connections, ensuring ease of assembly, and strength. It took about 10 minutes to assemble, and it was easy enough a 7 year old would have no issues. And the proportions look great. They are spot on for good design. The rubber leveling feet complete the design. If I were to custom commission this piece with cost no object, I don’t know what I would change. And no, I don’t work there. I just appreciate good design and good manufacturing.

This is just as I hoped. It looks great and is just the right size for my small second bathroom. I applied the teak oil from the same company. It was easy but cumbersome to put the bench together (screws). I read that some people saw mold develope. I cant speak to that yet but I will definitely keep an eye on and update my review if necessary. Right now I am loving it.

Fantastic stool. Very sturdy. Easily went together in 15 minutes. Shelf is very nice feature. Beautiful piece. Well worth the price. Easy transaction with Aqua Tek.

This is really a quality bench. It is very heavy and easy to assemble.

Solid. Good quality wood. But.. Once water hit the top of the bench water spots and whiteness formed all over it. I used teak oil to fix it and it lasted one day.. Hummm

The peg holes match up but the screw holes are way off! Can not put together and need to return it!!

This bench is very well made and looks beautiful in our shower.
