This membrane did not even last a month before failing. Takes about 3 hours to make 1 gallon of water. Only made 1 gallon of water per hour directly from the box so 25gpd at best.

Bought this and the other filter components for my aqua buddy ro system. I use this system to provide pure water for my carnivorous plant collection which could not tolerate my ground water. Also great for fish tanks.

No damage upon arrival. The membrane works as expected.

    Greater than one week

The membrane works great. Everything I need it to do. But it must be replaced every 6 months. I do water changes every week, 2 tanks and 15 gallons overall. So it must be changed twice a year.

I am not sure how we drank water before but now if it has not been run through the RO filter It tastes like metal. Who knows whats in our water. The water companies only test for 32 things in the water, There are a lot more than 32 contaminants in the water we drink. some of them build up to high levels because they are not being tested for or removed from one water shed to the next. So if you live down stream....you are getting all the build up from all the towns up stream. Get a RO unit and you will taste the difference. I have saltwater reef aquariums and have spent over 400.00 on RO units in the past. This unit is a steal.

Works as advertised. I would get the higher GPD next time.

Bought this because I received a non “Aquatic Life” brand membrane in my RO buddie when I ordered it here on Amazon.

This worked perfectly to upgrade my RO Buddie from 50GPD to 100GPD. My only issue was the seal was attached about two inches from where the OEM seal was situated. I removed the tape, slid the seal up, put the tape back on. I’m not certain this is required but did it anyways. If the filters are going to be shipped out like this, maybe the filter photo could be updated to reflect the placement.
