They are really thin and barely have anything inside to filter out the tank water. I have a 2.5 gallon tank and ended shaving to change out the filter every 2 days. Compared to the actual one I bought at the local pet supply store, this is complete garbage. It is not dense enough. Don’t waste your money, just make a run to the pet store.

Filters fit perfectly

These are the cartridges my sons fish tank requires. It is much less expensive to purchase in bulk through Amazon than to go and get 3 at a time from your local pet store. I will continue to buy them this way.

These filters work really well. We use them for the aquarium of our amphibious frog.

I bought these packs for my 5 gallon betta fish tank that I bought at Petco. It was one of those tank packages that comes with the initial filter, fish food, and the tank itself with an LED light on the lid. I needed a replacement and figured I’d go for these since I needed a lot. They work okay I’d say. So, it does keep my tank pretty filtered but since switching to these I have had more green moss grow on the tank toys and it seems to get dirty quicker than the initial filter that had come with the tank packaging which did keep my tanks water crystal clear. These I’d say have not and they need to be changed quicker.. so I’ve been changing the filters every two weeks. I’m thinking of looking into others for now and trying it out because they work but only if you really switch them out often.
