    Aqueon has cut corners on their filters. The amount of carbon in the filter has been reduced dramatically and only covers about the bottom 1/6 -1/8 of the filter. Filters could last a month about a year ago (with cleaning), but now I am needing to change the filter out weekly, which could cause disruptions in the biological filter established in the tank.

    These were the most economical buy for us for our aquariums. I cannot believe what brick and mortar stores here were charging. Though these were still pretty pricey, these were the best per filter. Since we have a medium filter these are the cartridges we buy. They work well and keep your tank crystal clear! I wash them when they are dirty and use them for about a month’s time. I will buy again!

    I purchased the Aqueon QuietFlow LED PRO Aquarium Power Filters, Size 10-100GPH earlier this year. I bought these replacement cartridges hoping they would be the same as the original filter cartridge, but unfortunately not. These cartridges have less than half the amount of activated charcoal that the original cartridge had. Way overpriced for what it is. Im upset. I feel cheated.
