> 3 dayTakes watercolor nicely. The rough surface allows you to use more water without warping the paper.

> 3 dayThis is great quality in my opinion compared to canson watercolor paper. It’s more durable and for a beginner like me, you can add layer after layer or try to “scrub” a wrong paint color off when you mess up without having the paper get messed up as easily as cheaper brands. I definitely recommend for beginners.

> 3 dayI love Arches paper and always use cold press so I wanted to try the rough to see the difference. It has its place for certain applications ie landscapes perhaps. A bit non absorbent unless you pre wet your paper.

> 3 dayMy first time using Arches Rough paper. I love it. I like the absorbency, feel, and performance of the paper. It is higher end and the value is more, but if you want to improve you have to paint on better paper. There is no compromise.
