Greater than one weekIt will apply a few degrees of cooling to your CPU. Its not strictly necessary, but for what it does, its pretty great. The application tube is easy to use and really nice.

> 3 dayRecently purchased an Innovation Cooling LLC IC Graphite Thermal Pad (40 x 40 mm) to use on my Xbox One X. The console was suffering from the revving fan issue when playing 4K Enhanced games, e.g. RDR2. I tried using the thermal pad and it was a complete failure, with the Xbox One X going into thermal shutdown just from the dashboard in under 60 seconds (so basically very little load). Fortunately, I was prepared for this and purchased the ARCTIC MX-4 Edition 2019 Thermal Compound Paste as an option. I applied this to the SOC of my Xbox One X, not only did it immediately resolve the thermal shutdown issue (caused by the failure of the thermal pad), but its GREATLY helped with the fan revving problem. Playing Forza 7 the machine doesnt even break a sweat and remains near silent. Playing RDR2 the fan only kicks in during very graphically intensive scenes (especially at night when around a camp fire) ... but that said, the fan no longer revs up & down and certainly isnt having to work anywhere near as hard ... Arctic MX-4 saves the day !!!
