Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

This is still the best thermal paste. Yes, it has been out for a long time, but the reason is that it just works, and works well.

It is one of the finest thermal compounds on the market. The quantity is like measured in gold. I used it to replace original thermal compound in a HP-Envy 15, so far not heating problems noted. I wished the product was more generous quantity wise. So please used it sparingly.

I have always used Artic Silver thermal paste. It is tons better than the manufacturers thermal paste. I kid you not when you apply this stuff, your cpu, gfx and such will actually run cooler. I am not talking a whole lot, but it does run a few degrees cooler. Its realitively cheap and lasts a long time.

Product works very well dropped active cpu temps down about 10 Celsius over stock thermal compound only drawback is this compound doesnt quite disperse as well as other compounds ive used in the past so i subjest going with the grain of rice method on install and then move the cpu heat-sink just barely back and forth up and down slightly to help bleed out air pockets that will form underneath.
