> 3 dayMy daughter was born in May and weve been spoiled by the ease of the warm weather. With the onset of the colder weather, I find myself struggling with how best to protect her from the elements. With that said, I ordered this item and literally just received it in the mail. The first comment I have to make is that it is a beautiful day when I dont have to ask for my husbands help to install something. This was so easy that even I was able to install it on the car seat myself. Secondly, Im really excited because it really seems like it meets all of our needs. My daughter gets hot very easily and this allows for my husband and I to adjust it to meet her needs. We can cover her entirely using the zippers on either side of the cover and the face flap...we can also use the fleece blanket insert to ensure shes extra toasty. Or we can velcro the face flap up to leave her face uncovered and unzip the side zippers...and just use the blanket if we see fit or leave it flipped off of her as well. I know many people have complained about the gap that it leaves on the sides where the handles are. I have the Chicco Keyfit 30 - be sure to attach this cover directly to the top of the car seat, not to the car seats sunshade and two, just stretch and adjust this cover to minimize the gap. Currently, I have it adjusted to the point where there is almost no gap, and the blanket will take it the rest of the way. I also love the fact that it appears that I can put my baby in and take her out of the car seat without removing this cover. Im so excited about this item; I cant wait to use it. Unfortunately, I have to wait because of Hurricane Sandy.

> 3 dayThis works well and our little boy loves the fleece blanket! We live in Wisconsin so it can be quite cold out. We use this primarily to keep our little guy warm between the car and whatever building we are going into.

> 3 dayLiving in Montana the winters get pretty brutal, pretty excited to get this in the mail! Was surprised that it had like a built in blanket for the babies. Hopefully my three month old wont mind being in this!

> 3 dayGreat cover that offers a little peekaboo window and even an extra blanket. So cozy for the brisk winter weather, and easy to unzip and just use the blanket when in the car. Wonderful!

> 3 dayVery warm and cozy - the included blanket makes this especially nice and different from similar products. It is soft and adds additional warmth right by the baby.

> 3 dayBig poofy coats cant be used with carseats but who wants to constantly be taking a newborn in and out of ANY article of clothing while exposed to cold winter winds with the door open!?!?! This worked so well in our Michigan winter (yay polar vortex!). My daughter was nice and toasty, and the shower cap style cover is approved to use with my carseat so I dont need to remove it. I never even had to both putting her in outerwear, just kept a coat for in the car just in case. I just unzipped her when in the car if it was warm.
