> 24 hourThese are PERFECT for situations where you need the look of glass or plexiglass, or in my case just a smooth surface, without the structural rigidity of plexiglass. They are much cheaper than the equivalent plexi. And I needed them for a terrarium to have a surface I could see through in order to see the background I installed, but also something my lizards bugs couldnt climb and escape from. This was exactly what I needed.

> 24 hourMost people would use these plexiglass sheets to cover pictures in frames, and the sheets would be great at that. However, I ordered these sheets to fix an unusual problem. My pantry shelves are made of plastic coated metal rods. The shelves have spaces between the rods so its difficult to store narrow glass bottles such as oil, vanilla, flavored vinegar, gourmet sauces, etc., without them tumbling over like dominoes. So I lined the shelves with these plexiglass sheets and, WOW, the problem is solved. All my oils and other cooking ingredients remain upright. No more messes. I love them!

> 24 hourIve been doing a lot of projects lately with plexiglass, mainly staining it with various colors of alcohol ink to make faux stained glass windows for a few windows in my house. I was happy to get these large sheets, because they cover a lot of glass! They also took very well to alcohol ink, and there was enough room on the sheets to really paint with them---I made one a meadow scene and another a paisley abstract look. The sheets seem strong, but I do have to say they are quite thin, thinner than any other similar plexiglass sheets Ive tried. If you are looking for a thick sheet, I would not get these, but otherwise, they have worked out very well for me.

> 24 hourI liked these acrylic sheets. They are thin enough to cut with a sharp utility knife. I suggest laying the sheet on some scrap corrugated cardboard prior to measuring and cuttiing. Two passes with the knife and you are through. I like to use the thin 1/16 sheets for framing posters. They hold the poster well and are light compared to glass. Important when they are 24 x 36. Downside would be the static when you pull off the protective plastic that covers the sheet. Keep your work area clean and you should have no problems. The sheets arrived well boxed and flawless.
