> 3 dayFor the price, I think this has become my go-to model. Does not suffer from many common ailments of other designs. Below are some extra details and tips I wanted to know before buying (pertains to the 14x9 model): - There are small registration ridges on the underside for stacking. Nothing serious, but should maintain a short tower. - Rear side has feet that match the size of the hinges, allowing the box to stand upright. - No living hinges to deteriorate/snap. Both the main lid hinges and front latches are pin-in-cradle style - Lid hinges are indeed detachable. Open the lid, and press it downwards. - Material thickness of the lid is 1.5mm (not measured over a ridge) - Clearance between the top of the dividers and the underside of the lid appears to be <= 1mm on my unit. Decent for small parts. - Came with 18 divider plates that were indeed the captive style. They will retain the horizontal walls when under tension. - Main horizontal dividers are integral to the floor of the box, not floating. They have a radius at this joint. - For the sticker residue on the lid, Ive found it best to rip the label off quickly. If there are any spots of residue left, you can re-apply a corner of the sticker, and rip it off again to remove more residue. I did this ~4 times, and the box is now clean. Using the same adhesive against itself seems to do the trick.

> 3 dayI really love the container, but the part on the bottom that the clasp latches onto broke after a week. It still functions but now Im just waiting to see when the other side breaks...

> 3 dayMy only complaint with this amazing box is that the sticker left residue on the top - which is just nitpicking at this point. This box is so functional, helpful, and easy to store! The entire compartment system inside is totally customizable based on what you want to do. I split it down the middle and made rows on either side for colored pencils, pens, markers, and even had room at the top to just put pipe cleaners in a large row all the way across. The size I got (14.1” by 9”) fits two rows of markers/colored pencils. The only downside is you can’t stack them very high.

Greater than one weekGreat kit, just know the plastic dividors lengthwise are non-adjustable and part of the base. tried to cut one to make it wider for storage of alcohol pads for a diabetic kit and it was a fail.

> 3 dayThe adjustable spaces are wonderful for creating the right-size compartment for all the different things we cart around as artists.

Greater than one weekKeeps your art pencils and erasers organized. You need a box like this to keep your cherished pencils organized and protected. This case is big enough for a new artist like me but perhaps a more experienced artist would need the next bigger model in the line up. It will hold at least 25 pencils in two bins. The third can be partitioned to hold erasers and sharpeners. The partitions can be moved and adjusted to suit your needs. The box is relatively well-made and it should last for a few years. I suspect that the plastic hinge will wear out eventually but when it does, your skills may have developed and you will be ready for a bigger box. Highly recommended.
