Have a horse? Is there ever any mud where you live? Does your horse ever have feet that are a tad moist or stinky? Then you NEED this stuff! One or two applications, and hooves are so much healthier. Actually I think all the products from this brand are pretty stinking awesome. This stuff is a great buy, easy to use, and effective. Every horseman (well, maybe not YOU, living in the High Desert and riding through dry dusty sand... but everyone else!) should have a jar of this on hand.

We have used this a lot to protect our old draft horse’s soles of his feet. It stops the terrible and painful abscesses that he tends to get in early summer, after mud season.

Works well to fight thrush or prevent it….a bit pricy though

My farrier recommends this stuff to all of her clients and encouraged me to purchase some to help me clear up the thrush I’ve been battling with off and on all winter in my horses hooves. Needless to say, this stuff WORKS. The thrush was completely gone in a matter of days and it hasn’t come back. The traditional liquid thrush treatments would always run off of the hoof quickly and did nothing to actually prevent the thrush from reoccurring whereas this stuff stays on long enough to kill everything and it acts as a barrier to keep stuff out afterwards. I apply this to the grooves of his hooves and any little nooks and crannies where mud and manure like to sit before he goes into anywhere muddy or wet (like winter turnout). Additionally, since this stuff is anti microbial, I also put this stuff on his hoof where my farrier had accidentally nicked him. I was originally hesitant about the price of this stuff but a little bit goes a long ways and it can actually last a while so you’re not constantly reapplying it. Overall I’d highly recommend this stuff and would buy again.

This product has worked for my horses and for my client horses for many many years. It is great for maintenance and to get rid of thrush on a ongoing basis. Does not act caustically to discourage new growth but keeps hooves frog growth constant.

I use this for my horses, and love this product. It stays in the crevices of the hooves for days and protects and nurture sensitive areas from bacteria. Since I’ve started using this, once a week, none of my horses have had any thrush. My trimmer recommended this product, and I’m so glad I listened to her.
