This is truly a lost art. This is so much more visual versus calculating. If you get the wrong inspector, they will ask you to demonstrate the use of an e6b.

Bought the metal one thinking that it would be more durable as others Ive seen. Received item bent and scuffed up the metal is also a thiner guage then older other models. If I had to do it again for the money Id just buy a cheaper plastic one.

Bad packing resulted in the calculator being bent upon arrival, but it works fine after straightening it out.

Not an easy thing to learn, but WOW does it calculate a ton of information necessary for flight. Great product. Printing is very small and difficult for us older pilots to see, but not when in good light, it is quite a nice computer.

My son is going tonschool for aviation. He loves the metal. Says easy tonread. But is missing one of the calculations that is on his cardboarsnone. He does prefer this one.

It arrived bent. I tried fixing it but it’s not perfect.
