ASAs Color E6B Flight Computer

Been using my ASA E6B for a little over a year now and can say that its pretty tough. It still works like new and doesnt show any signs of wear yet. Im happy I purchased it and learned how to use it... even if all the iPad junkie pilots laugh when they see me using it during my flight planning.

I havent used one since I was in High school (40 years ago), but it was not difficult to pick up the skill and process again and it doesnt need batteries

Its a standard E6B. If you are looking at this, then you are either a student or an Instructor. Obviously if you are an Instructor you already know what you want. If you are a student, this is a good one. Its color and very easy to read.

Metal, sturdy not flimsy, excellent construction.

The E6B is made of metal and appears very durable. It is bigger than my USAF issue which is good since I no longer have the eyes of a twenty year old. I took it for a test flight and it worked great. Putting color on the unit made it easy to read and use.

Bought this for son who was working on private pilot license. He says was perfect for application.
