> 24 hourThis finder shoe has been perfect for my Omegon refractors. It mounts well and securely on top of the tube rings releasing the focuser from weight and unnecessary obstruction from your viewing. Great price, fast delivery and nice finish. Great purchase.

> 24 hourReplaced the original red dot finder base with this one as I could not get the original celestron provided out of box red dot finder to align to the 5SE telescope. This product works well with the Nexstar with no additional holes required to be drilled. I also replaced the original celestron provided red dot finder with a finderscope with cross hairs. The combination solved my problem of lack of alignment. Recommend product.

> 24 hourI wanted to mount a guide scope on my Rasa 8 and this fits perfectly. I like how this clamp has two screws to hold the guide scope. Id assume this would fit any SCT thats 8 as well.

> 24 hourI purchased this for a 1990s Celestron C8 SCT. Fit perfect, the mounting allows the screws to be at an angle so they thread in and do not interfere with the guide scope dove tail as my other did. Nicely made and holds scope nice and tight with the dual screws.

> 24 hourVery well made and matches optical tube curve well for Celestron C5 6SE 8SE to attach upgraded finder scopes and pointers. Other similar bases are flat and do not sit well on curved optical tubes. This base is very good.

> 24 hourPerfect finder shoe for 8 SCT scope. I used this on my Celestron CPC800 and found that the elongated mounting holes were just shy by about 1-2 mm to match up with the scope. The shoe is made of relatively soft metal and I simply used a round file to extend one hole slightly. The two set screws ensure that the guidescope Ill use is firmly in place and wont move during set up and tear down. I looked long and hard for a suitable shoe and this one is it, albeit with a minor effort on my part. I suspect it fits perfectly on other 8 scopes. Im quite happy with my selection.
