09-06-2025First and foremost, the advertised refresh rate of 120 hz is completely false. This is a standard 60 hz monitor. Theres also something horribly wrong with the contrast; its like its perpetually low. Even at high contrast, all of the colors are far too pale. All shades of black blend together and it cant come remotely close to displaying a real black. I spent a solid 2 hours trying every combination of settings possible to fix this, with no success. I cant see any reason for anyone to buy this monitor.

> 3 dayI tried it on my 1070 and my laptop 740m along with updated drivers, HDMI 2.1 and anything it could possibly be. It is a misprint. I also bought it from J-Electronics and their service is as bad as you can tell when they dont respond to anything. I tried to cancel and then after Ive bought it, am having a hard time returning. Moral of the story is, I am A+ certified and know computers pretty well so believe me when I say that it is bunk. Its also super bright and makes things look worse than on my DVI display

> 3 dayGreat Monitor for gamers who don’t want to spend too much. I daily use it for doing work and playing games and the picture quality is superb. Highly recommended for the price only con is the monitor stand upon which it sits disconnects from the monitor if you try and pick it up but you can see it’s designed that way for maximum adjustability.

> 3 dayI had a monitor go out on my pc that has 2 monitors, so I bought 2 of these so they would match. I screwed up because I thought I had HDMI out on my pc, but I didnt. I had DVI and VGA video outputs. I have a video capture card that uses HDMI video input. Its been a while and I forgot what I had! So I had to buy an adapter cable, DVI to HDMI. It works great! I love these new monitors. I have one hooked up to VGA and the other to HDMI (DVI) I cant tell which one is better. I have seen the complaints, but I dont have a single complaint. Plug and play and they are spectacular! Especially for less than a hundred bucks each. And yes, there are definitely the 4 tiny screw holes on the back so you can mount these to an arm. They had rubber plugs in them. Pull the plugs and insert your screws. I had to buy longer screws for these monitors. The plastic on the back seems to be a bit thicker than my last monitors. I bought 4mm X 16mm screws with locks and flats. I made an excellent choice. If you buy one I dont think you will regret it.

> 3 dayI bought two of these monitors and my primary use is Bible reading, photography, web design, and video/music editing. Both monitors works great for that and they would be fine to game on too. I choose these monitors because they have hdmi and audio connections as they have built-in speakers. I already have a set of Sony external speakers but wanted to use the built-in speakers whenever I watched YouTube. I was disappointed in the very bad quality of the speaker sound. Asus shouldnt have even bothered putting in speakers. Also, you cannot connect audio cable from PC to the monitor and expect sound if you are using hdmi. If you are using vga then it works. Because my graphic card doesnt support dual hdmi audio simultaneously, only one monitor can play audio at a time. I had to contact Asus and they did confirm this to me.

> 3 dayBought this monitor because I thought it would be an upgrade to my previous Asus Monitor, which was starting to fail and requires a warm up period. Returned the monitor because it did not have any real blacks. Was too bright and had a yellow tint, the latter of which can be adjusted. Set the brightness down as low as it will go, but still had grey blacks. If that is not a problem for you, it might be good. After some shopping, I think there are better monitors for just as cheap. The Acer SB220Q IPS seems like a good pick for the price, even though it has its own issues (that can be fixed).

> 3 dayWaste of money. By for the worst monitor I have owned. Does not have vibrant color at all. Spend abit more or try another cheap one but this isn’t it. Don’t buy.
