> 24 hourI purchased my ASUS Dual OC RTX3070 for $530 in Nov 2020 (paired with a 5800x). I play everything from shooters to ARPGs, even roguelikes and indies. I play all games at 1440p and routinely reach my monitors cap of 165fps, never dropping below 100fps. It performs well with Ray Tracing, especially when the game also supports DLSS. The hottest I’ve seen the 3070 get is 80c, but it usually stays between 65-70c. Lately there has been a lot of attention around the subject of VRAM, arguing that 8GB is not enough for games anymore. I recently played through Resident Evil 4 Remake, using Digital Foundrys optimized settings, and it’s been fantastic. Aside from a few moments when loading a new area, it stays locked at my monitors cap of 165fps. With Ray tracing turned on it crashes with any texture setting above High 2GB, highlighting the concern over 8GB of VRAM. With a few settings turned down, and others completely off, the 3070 can still run High 8GB textures in Resident Evil 4 Remake just fine. I haven’t tried games like TLOU remake or Hogwarts, but so far 8GB of VRAM has not stopped me from enjoying any of the games that I play. For the last 2+ years my experience has been a 5/5. I recognize that there are better options these days, and VRAM is still a concern for many, for that I’ll give it a 4/5.

> 24 hourArrived safely, well packaged, great performance as well. Undervolted to 931mV at 1905Mhz. The only thing that sucks is that the LED cannot be controlled in any way, not even turning it off. It really ruined the black and white look of my desktop.

> 24 hourPleasantly surprised, this card was actually brand new and still had a warranty in case something goes wrong. So no complaints there. I paid $750, but this variant retails at $650 assuming stock price. So I felt the price was fair considering many online both retailcand scalpers are charging way more. Moving from my 1080 sli Im seeing about double performance so Im happy my rig has been revamped and is ready for a new generation of gaming. Ive thrown hard gaming workloads at it and it stays in the 60s temp eise. Another quality model variant by ASUS that runs, quiet, cool, and efficiently. Which is why I chose the Asus card.

> 24 hourOnly after 2 days of installing the gpu fan began to rattle pretty loudly at around 1600rpm. It’s pretty noticeable but it’s good performance.

> 24 hourThis is a really good graphics card for the money. That of course is if you can get it at MSRP. Do not overpay for these there should be plenty on the market right now. With Nvidia soon to launch the 40XX series card shortly. There should be some good mark downs on 30 series cards.

> 24 hourWas a lil bit worried when I saw it was shipped with fed ex since Ive had a monitor arrive broken because of them, but was gladly greeted with an oversized box with ZERO rattling inside. When the box was opened I was greeted with MORE than enough packaging to ensure that the card arrived in PERFECT condition. The card runs well and the blue and purple LEDs go well with my nebula themed setup!
