The Laptop is very good and performs good at every level while gaming, But literally two weeks of purchasing the fans started making noise, I know that It makes noise because of the demand etc...

Had to turn off Hybrid mode in order for some older programs to launch, the PCs asus software doesnt switch intuitively as it should. Once I turned it onto solely discrete, the pc could launch my games. I will say that the battery life is incredibly disappointing. The adverts say up to 8 hours of video watching, but the pc cant survive more than 2 hours of youtube or light gaming like OSRS. I got this as a replacement for an MSI GT72S 6QE that was my first gaming laptop. This is so much lighter it does have some true mobility but the batter situation is pretty sad.

The bad. The laptop gets way too hot and the battery only last about two hours. Even if I enable “battery saving mode” and “eco mode”, it never gets past two hours. I thought about getting a cooling fan for the laptop but the reviews say that the cooling fans for laptops aren’t good or that they’re cheaply made and most don’t blow strong air. It’s going to get warmer during this time of year and I don’t want to worry about heat syncope. As for the battery life, I don’t want to be plugged in to the wall all the time. Not to mention the time and cost of replacing the battery when it swells up and gets damaged. I thought I could get at least 4-5 hours of battery life but the laptop dies way too soon.

This is the best laptop within this budget. Super smooth, fast and low noise. Asus is also giving warranty extension of 90 days for giving feedback of the laptop. That’s great!

I bought a brand new laptop and it did a software update and crashed overnight. Couldn’t boot back up and display remained black even though lights came on. This is a very common problem with Asus gaming laptops.. they have issues with bios and device drivers.

I think this computer is great other than when running games. Even the new age of empire. This computer gets really hot, even with fan base at full power. The keys are hot to the touch. Disappointed in that. But it is a powerful computer otherwise.
