Asus VA229HR 21.5” Monitor Frameless 1080P 75Hz IPS Eye Care HDMI VGA with 178° Wide Viewing Angle,Black

Good for basic monitor.

The comments are gathered for different asus models, and some say it doesnt have hdmi but model VA229HR 22” does have hdmi socket! I am pretty satisfied with the quality.

As you can see from the picture above, I often have multiple displays with multiple OS running and I can say that this display provides a clear picture with a (to me) noticeable difference in eye strain. The tradeoff is slightly lower contrasts in the bright white and dark blacks (resulting from the filtering out of the eye damaging high energy spectral light). For anybody that uses a computer all day long, get one. If you only use a screen an hour a day, maybe not so important HDMI and D-sub inputs good, built-in speakers, like what you would find in a laptop, 100x100 VESA mount on the back also good.

I got this monitor to use as a secondary with my other monitor. I thought it was the same one as my other monitor but it was actually newer. I liked the look of it better so I now use it as my main monitor. Came well packaged and with all cords and pieces. Love it so far!! (Left monitor in photos)

I wasnt sure about this monitor at this price. After unboxing, connecting it to my computer, I was impressed with the picture. This monitor is perfect, I know about about free returns, I wont need it, this one is a keeper.

A great monitor with sharp color, wide range of settings that are easy to adjust to your liking, and an overall clear display that should be more than enough for semi-serious gaming or anything else you might need it for. The built in speakers arent the greatest and the stand could do to be less wobbly, but these are incredibly minor problems and the monitor as a whole is well worth the price.

Excellent monitor for anything you want to do with your computer.

Just so glad! It is the best screen I ever had! I work 7-11 hours a day in front of my screen and my eyes never get tired.
