Ive always looked at these, but I always had a multi meter so I didnt see the point of getting something like this. When I saw it available for review I jumped on it. When I got it I immediately tested it out and it worked perfectly. I like that it gives you the voltage reading and the positive and negative light.

At one point or another weve all had to check a fuse or circuitry with a test light. Owning a home or motorhome/RV a test light is guaranteed to be needed at some point in time and especially in a motorhome. Its easy... just clip on the flying lead to a ground and then touch the pointy end to your fuse or fuse port and you get either get illumination or not. Theres the kicker... the light that may come on can be varied in brightness meaning voltage is present but, just how much? It may not be enough to just see test light come on, you need to know how much to correctly diagnose a potential issue. Thats where this bad boy comes into play with its digital voltage display and sound indicator. You can attach it either to negative or positive ground, there is also a light emitting diode on the circuit board for polarity indication, red light indicates positive polarity and green light indicates negative polarity. This is an easy to use tool that makes testing voltage both simple and convenient. You get a both a digital and audible tone. Photos show it attached to a 9V and car battery. You can see from the close up photo that the end of the probe is nice and pointed for accuracy.
