21-11-2024Got this to replace my basic light bulb test light that Ive been using for years. This test light is much better to than a basic test light. You can connect the alligator clip to either positive or negative ground to use. Measures 3-60 Volts d.c. Red indicator light for positive and green for ground. Clever designed needle protector cover bulit into the cord . Comes with some basic instructions. Great for testing all sorts of electrical circuits in cars. Highly recommend this test light.

Greater than one weekWish I had it sooner! This was surprisingly useful. Connects to either ground or positive circuit posts and indicates which you are testing, along with voltage present. Look forward to using it for tracing trailer wiring circuits.

26-11-2024Needed to determine where a ground was located under my dash near the fuse box for a dash cam. This product allowed me to easily locate a car ground that I could use.

> 3 dayI have been working on cars for 50 or so years now. One of the very first diagnostic aids I bought when I was younger was a test light. Very simple deal: Hook it to voltage and when you touched the tip to ground it would light up, likewise, when hooked to ground and touching a live circuit it would also light up. This one from ATOBLIN performs exactly like the old test light except the indicator is digital and it does much more. The LED voltmeter comes in real handy when youre probing for a 5 volt signal vs a 12 volt signal. Also, when youre circuit is supposed to be 12 volts and its only 3 the tester will let you know. A small red or green LED tells you if what youre probing is positive voltage or ground. You wont need a multimeter to read the voltage since the test light will read it for you. Ive found it to be very accurate. Its a multifunction tool in a small package that works very well. Comes with a rubber tip guard attached to the cord making it almost impossible to lose. A good idea since I usually lose the probe cover in the first few minutes of ownership. The old incandescent test light still has its place but this digital tester has become my new first line of interrogation on automotive electrical circuits.
