> 24 hourThese headphones are absolutely incredible. If you are reading this im sure you’ve read other reviews. These have incredible tonality, imaging, and sound stage. These are “reference” headphones geared toward music production and will need some boost in the low frequencies for most people. But they respond perfectly to EQ and sound incredible.

> 24 hourFantastic detail and sound stage. Impressive dynamics and frequency range. Comfortable and not as heavy as its perceived by many people. Can easily have it for a couple hours fine. Im pairing it with a Topping E50 and L50 stack, they are perfect for these cans. Is it worth the price? Probably not for casual listeners, if you want some of the best professional level detail retrieval, these are definitely the right choice.

> 24 hourI have been a headphone guy for the past several years, an audio guy for over four decades and a music lover since I was a child growing up in the 1960s. The headphone craze began for me back in the later 90s while working a second shift job because my wife and newborn would be sleeping when I arrived home and I was unable to immediately go to sleep but didnt want to wake them. Over the years I have amassed a small collection of headphones, all good, but the LCD-X is INSANE!

> 24 hourI bought these headphones through Richer Sounds Amazon store. Im very happy with my purchase. The sound quality is beautiful, its rare to have such rich, organic and natural tonality with such clarity, its usually a trade off between one or the other. Vocals and instruments sound real, an acoustic guitar sounds like someone is sat in front of you playing an actual guitar, just stunning. The headphones are easy to drive and are very comfortable for me. I should imagine you would have to pay a lot more for minor improvements of the sound quality of these headphones

> 24 hourDefinitely an improvement, with a bit of weight loss and some actually decent tuning, making the LCD-X competitive with higher tier and more expensive cans. Their still the heaviest in my collection but are sonically weightier then most along with its better dynamics, instrument separation and sound stage.

> 24 hourThis is the “best tuned” Audeze IMHO, it’s the closest to a Focal Clear MG in terms of neutrality and accuracy on the frequency response. However it contains a better wider and bigger soundstage.

> 24 hourThese headphones sound great with the Schiit Bifrost 2 and Magnius along with balanced set up. The definition on the high end is insane without being sibilant. Vocals sound intimate.

> 24 hourIve started to notice after several hours of listening time that my right ear is now touching the right fazor (plastic grill) on the headphone and causes great discomfort. Ive looked online and this is a known issue with audezes LCD line. Its surprising that people have had issues with the exact same thing and yet dont fix their pads. Ive contacted support and was told that there was nothing they can do. I dont have giant ears and they are quite normal. When I glance at the pads the right padding seems thinner than the left pad. Also not to mention that the pelican case that comes with the headphone is missing a rubber foot so when its placed on a flat surface it wobbles.
