> 3 dayGreat headphones, good sound. The only issue is the special cord that plugs into it. Prefer to have standard connectors on my equipment.

10-06-2025I did so much research for these headphones before purchasing. And most was positive. I went from cheap ear buds to the ATH. I was expecting a huge difference. But its lacking in bass and depth. Id suggest going to an electronics store to try it before buying. I still give it 4 stars. Its very comfortable. My ears never get bothered. Sound quality is good. I just expected more from the product. I think it was still worth the purchase though.

> 3 dayI searched all over the internet for headphone reviews -- one place should never be enough lol. We have the Beats Solo and they in no way compare in sound or comfort (and cost less). Amazing sound and blocks out outside noise. Son loves it!

> 3 dayClarity, bass and build quality are over the top. For the price, expectations were low. In particular, I thought nothing could beat the sound created by titanium drivers until I heard the sound coming from these headphones. The proprietary drivers made with rare earth magnets make an enormous difference.

> 3 dayExcellent sound quality. Was using Sony MDRs for years, until I broke my second pair. Made the switch to these. Possibly better headphones. Daily use - over a year now for production and DJing. Satisfied customer.

> 3 dayI never tried any headphones this good in my life. I was hesitant since some reviews suggested these cans are too warm or bass heavy if I got that right. I was leaning toward the m40x which is described as the more flat sounding option. But everyone who praised the 40s more had that one line at the end of their review that meant something like dont get me wrong. m50x still sound great and that seems it after testing it. The bass was right for me and everything sounded just right without tempering with the equalizer. I paired this with an additional purchase of the fiio x3 2nd gen and the sound can be loud enough to make my ears bleed without sacrificing quality. I never knew FLAC files sounded a lot better than MP3 until I had this setup.
