i bought it as a puppet to play with my mini schnauzer puppy. It would never work for that. There is hardly any room in the puppet for my hand. It is just another toy laying around with all the rest

Wolfgang came to us at the end of winter. His coat was matted, and he looked like he had had a rough journey, which indeed he said he had. He wanted food. He heard about pig in the barnyard and wondered if he could meet her first. I politely declined. Then he asked for a place to sleep. His only vice (which he cannot help) is that he sheds. He also does not look like a wolf as much as certain grandchildren want him to (aka, he has no teeth). We like him overall, though, and we definitely plan to keep him. He is a bit smaller than expected but small to medium hands fit fine. If I can figure out a way to cut some of a video of him introducing himself so that I can post it, I will. The file is currently too large to post.

My 12 month old LOVES this puppet! I bought it when she was 10 months and she immediately loved it and gets excited when I take it out to play. It fits easily on an adults hand and the eyes and nose seem securely attached so I dont have to worry about them being a choking hazard when she inevitably takes the puppet from me and plays with it/puts it in her mouth. I have hand washed it but it took a long time to dry. I wish I could throw it in the washing machine/dryer to clean but I havent yet because Im worried it would ruin it. Ill probably get one or two other animal puppets like this, but not the giraffe because that thing looks disturbing.

I bought this puppet for our puppet theater, and my grandchildren love him. He is colorful, soft, and his beak is easy to manipulate to make him speak. His eyes are well-placed. HIs feet are adorable. My 11-year old granddaughter especially likes to make up puppet skits as she goes along. In the last skit, fearful and sad Petey was worried about his wing, which he thought was hurt. Practical Donkey (another puppet) came with his stethoscope and other doctors tools to see what he could do. After a shot, knee reflex testing, heart exam, and temperature, Donkey decided Petey wasnt hurt at all but was assuming too much and needed to think things through instead of assuming the worst. Donkey then put a bandaid on Petey to make him feel better. Petey was happy until he realized the bandaid had fallen off. After being reassured by Donkey that he was fine but just needed to exercise, Petey decided to do some foot exercises. The skit ends with Petey back to feeling fearful, saying he will probably trip doing his exercises and get hurt and die. Now my granddaughter has another skit planned featuring Donkey and Petey to continue the saga ... For a grandmother, watching the skits has been delightfully entertaining as well as interesting.. I often video them on my phone for the kids to watch afterward. This helps them to see how they can use the puppets more effectively to tell their stories. I would definitely recommend Petey for both adults and children. My hand fits well into his beak, too, unlike some puppets which have mouths that are too small for adult hands. In addition, I have been known to use Petey to speak to the 4-year old, who speaks back to him, even though she knows hes only a puppet. Or is he?

This is a very fluffy toy that will withstand a lot of playtime. It has a realistic look and is easy to use as a puppet. Great for a child cat lover.

Excellent buy! The tongue is cute too. It sort of moves as the puppet talks and isnt sewn down to the mouth. The puppet is a good size for my 7 year old and good quality. It isnt a dinky, poorly made thing. I was surprised by its quality actually. I will be seeing if they make other animals now for further purchases.

I got this when the pandemic started to use in my psychology telehealth sessions with little kids (preschool-early elementary). He is a real favorite across all different sorts of kids and if I forget to have him on screen, at some point in our session many kids ask for him. My 7 month old nephew really responded with smiles and giggles to him on Face Time the other day. Hes had lots of flu shots, learned to tolerate a mask after trying to eat it, stolen sips of my coffee and so on. Its easy to open and close his mouth like he is talking or yelling or giving licks, and his resting face is warm and inviting.

The design of this wolf puppet was fairly neutral - even approachable. We added it to a book and CD of Peter and the Wolf for a pre-schooler, so we didnt want a really scary wolf. The child really like the puppet.

My 14 month old likes this puppet. He likes anything dinosaur related. I was nervous to order, cuz there isnt many reviews on it. But it looks the same in person, as advertised. My son loves to give his puppet kisses & it makes him happy
