Used this when painting a satin black roll cage. Worked well to see all the dark corners. Used a 18650 battery. These are easily ordered or if you have an old rechargeable battery pack for a tool or kids ride on toy, it likely have multiple of this same size rechargeable cell in it. I didn’t realize the light was not going to ship with the needed battery so will deduct a star for that as it should have been a complete kit. Also removing one star for the little ‘arms’ that tension to secure the light to the paint gun not being permanently attached to the light. They just slip in a hole and if the light is bumped they too easily pop out. They need a securing screw from the back side into their posts. I’ll be modifying mine with this improvement.

I didnt realize that the battery didnt come with the light. So I went back and looked and it didnt .Now I have to order a battery. I should have paid closer attention...

It lights up very well but I had a hard time getting it to fit on my 3m accuspray. I suggest getting the 9900mAh batteries.

The description states a set of two. Very deceptive

The “manual” it comes with says it takes an 18500 battery, it doesn’t. I have no clue what battery to put in this thing, so it’s a waste of money
