When replacing our hot water heater recently, I discovered the space above it was wasted space. I though it would be perfect to store the extras that come when buying bulk, like dish soap, window cleaners, laundry soap, etc. My husband built a shelf that pulls out for easier access. Its very deep so was hard to see what I had stored in the back. I was using a flashlight but that was cumbersome. This light is seriously a game changer. It is set to motion activation and comes on when I get near it. I am also able to see clear in the back so know what I have. I love that I can recharge it and that it stays in place with magnets (4 were included, I used two). It is slim enough that it doesnt take up any valuable real estate. If I didnt already have under cabinet lighting, I would use this. This would be perfect for a closet, in cabinets, a bathroom night light, so many ways to use these. I may get more for the bedroom closets, in addition to the overhead light that doesnt illuminate the back of the closet. This is a 10/10 for me, so far.

I have used several of this type of product to light up the basement stairs that have pantry shelves in one side in our very old house. So I never paid much attention to looks or even quality as it’s just a dreary low finish level space. All I want is a light with motion sensing that I can easily remove for charging. I was incredibly pleased at the high quality and nice finish/profile of this light. It would be at home even a more visible space. It has a very solid feel coming from having actual metal parts. It comes with 4 different smaller metal plates intended to be attached to the mounting surface which in turn hold the magnetic back of the light. The light only uses two so you could have extras or set up to be able to mount it two locations. No cheapy hook and loop mounting strips for this light, although you could certainly use them if you wanted but they are not included.

This light has come in handy so much for me! I use it for my hall closet that has no light and as soon as I open the door, the automatic light sensor turns on and I don’t have to wait for it to cut off it. It cuts off on its own within 10 to 15 seconds. It was easy to install. It didn’t take long to come to a full charge and I love that it’s magnetic so I can easily take it off to recharge it and put it back on. Definitely recommend there’s light to light up any dark places in your home.

I got this after having received another by this brand, and was impressed enough to get more. These are bright, long lasting on a charge, and very responsive to movement (and lack of movement to turn off). One of the reasons I’ve decided on more of these is that they will work well to light a decently sized room in a power outage. First, the good: - It has a USB-C charge port. I’m trying to standardize on that for cables and chargers so that’s a major plus and deciding factor on getting this light. - It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable. - It turns on as soon as I open the door, regardless of where I have it mounted. - It stays on as long as I’m rummaging around, no matter where I am in the closet. - It turns of 20 seconds after I close the door every time which makes a huge difference for battery life. - The adhesive for the magnetic plates holds the light securely. - The magnets are very strong for the size given how little the light weighs. The “meh”: - The cable it comes with is really kind of flimsy. It works, but I used a higher quality cable. No idea if it affected charge time or not. And now for The Bad: - Nothing bad to report. Final thoughts: - It works and works well. - The light is strong, consistent and the motion sensor works great. - Just be aware of the USB-C charging requirement. I have already ordered multiples of these and will likely order more. As I mention at the beginning, these will also be great in a power outage or even while camping. Definitely a buy!

I have several different brands of under cabinet lights. I love that you can stick them up without needing any power. They are great inside any kind of cabinet or low light area. Of course, it will depend on use, but if you use it inside a cabinet that you only occasionally use you will not need to charge it very often. I would say this is one of the best ones I have. First of all it is larger and brighter than most. This light is twice as long as some others I have. In some situations you may prefer a smaller light, but if you have a larger space to light up, this is a good option. There is one feature of this light I really like. There is a setting where even if there is light in an area, if it detects motion, it will turn on. The reason this is good in some situations is that it may be in a space that gets dim light, but not as much as you need. Some of these lights will not come on if there is dim light and motion is detected. However, with this setting the light will come on anytime motion is detected. If gives you an option that most lights do not offer.

Our builder did not put any light into our relatively deep pantry and it gets pretty dark in there. So, we needed some sort of light but did not want to hundreds to an electrician to wire it for an overhead light. So, I added this light to the pantry after I charged it. It works great. As soon as I reach inside, the light comes on and it lights up all but the far back of the top and bottom shelves (probably better than a ceiling light would have done). So far, I am very happy with it. Installation was simple. Peel off the adhesive backing to a magnet and stick it on the wall where you want the light to go. I let the magnets cure in place for 24 hours (not required by the directions but I have learned being patient this way pays off). Then, I just plopped the light on the magnet. It seems to staying in place perfectly.

This light works well to light up a dark closet. I was hoping to find one at a cheaper price, but this one was rechargeable with motion detection and so I gave it a try. Its actually pretty good. The motion detection works well. The light is bright enough with good diffusion so its not blinding. The magnets hold it in place solidly (unlike a different one I bought). I havent needed to recharge it yet, so I cant speak to battery life. If needed, it can also be used as a weird flashlight, but its not ideal for that. The light does not have mounting holes for screws / hard mounting to a surface. The metal plates have screw holes for mounting but not the light itself.

So I used these as light for under my cabinets above the counter and it is a beautiful addon. I dont have to worry about batteries and I dont have to drill anything. The adhesive is strong and the magnets have a good hold. Physical switch makes it easier to use than some touch panel models, making this one a superior model. The light is bright and motion sensor on point.
