My 7 month old baby, who rarely cries and has never had a reaction to other lotions, started crying inconsolably while I was applying this lotion to her skin after her bath. I can only assume it was the burning sensation that other reviewers have mentioned because it was so out of character for her, and she was obviously reacting to my rubbing the lotion on her leg. If your child has any kind of rash or eczema (you know - what this is intended to treat!), Id be very careful with this lotion and test a small area. I feel awful for having subjected my daughter to this stuff. For now, Ill continue using Little Twig lavender lotion - it doesnt make her eczema any worse, but it doesnt seem to help it much, either. But it sure doesnt elicit the reaction that Aveeno did!

This is the only lotion we can use for my husbands contact dermatitis and my psoriasis/eczema combo. It doesnt burn or sting and is great because it rubs in pretty quickly. This is the first lotion that doesnt hurt us! Id recommend it to anyone who has serious skin flare-ups who is sick of stinging lotions.

This product helped improve my babys eczema within a few days. It is not real greasy either and my baby had no bad reactions to it.

The adult version of this lotion is still too strong for my face somehow (I can feel a very light burning sensation). I had been using this lotion on my daughter for over a year and one day decided to put it on my own face and it felt so much better. I usually have dark, dry patches on my face that I cover up with makeup and this lotion completely got rid of them.

My baby has bad eczema. I have tried several creams and lotions. This one was a huge fail. He screamed like he was on fire when I applied it on his skin. I panicked and washed it off immediately. Later when applying it to my own dry hands, I experienced the pain he felt. It burned like crazy!! Not sure if it was the fragrance? It went right in the trash. Very disappointed because Ive always heard such great things about Aveeno.

My 3 year old has terrible eczema, Ive been using it on him for about a week and it is getting much better. Nothing else I used helped at all. Also between winter and constant handwashing/dishes my hands have been extremely dry and painful. Everytime I put it on my son I use a little on my hands and my skin is soft again! I definitely recommend this product for eczema as well as dry skin.

If your baby has eczema, this product is a must! My kiddo developed eczema on his face when he was 4 months old. I tried all sorts of different lotions and potions to help my little guy out, but nothing was working.
