Such a cute toy! Bright colors, sturdy design, lots of fun ways to play (put the pieces in and out, pull the toy along)-- the tail moves up and down and the circle spins as it moves, which is absolutely adorable. I took off a star for two reasons-- 1) the circle that holds the shapes is a little hard to align correctly on the base so that it will spin as you pull it, which has reduced my older child (4 years old) to frustrated tears a couple times) and 2) there are only 3 shapes to put into the shape sorter, which I supposed I should have realized when I bought it, so I guess that is my fault-- I wanted a little more variety. The side where you remove the shapes makes it pretty easy to take the shapes in and out instead of putting them through the shaped holes, so parents might want to be aware of that-- I dont mind it because my 12 month old finds that a pretty engaging activity in itself-- the easy side, my husband calls it. In all, its a great toy that I would buy again, and I like it that it appeals to my older infant as well as my 4 year old.

This was my nieces favorite gift at her 1 year birthday party! it is really well made and has a lot of different components that make it entertaining. Even the eyeballs are fun!

My 9 month old son loves this little snail. He cant yet put the shapes in the right spots, but he loves pulling it to him and rattling the shell. We had a 3 1/2 year old over and he loved it too, so seems like it should keep my son entertained for a while. I also love that it is made of wood instead of plastic.

My 14 month old has LOVED this toy! It has been her favorite toy for a while now. She usually gets bored and stops playing with a toy very few minutes after she starts, not with this one. Very good buy

We all love this toy. So much so that I have to tell my husband to let the baby play with it (he was the first person to tow it around the livingroom). It bobs in a cute manner. Even before baby was walking, she loved rolling the top part around and making the rubbery eyes bobble. Now she loves chewing on the eyes, and started using the shape sorter at 9 months. The colors around the hole and fewer shapes make it easier to figure out than other shape sorters, and she likes this one better. The many ways that it can be used/enjoyed is probably one of the best features of this toy (in addition to being safely and environmentally consciously made in Switzerland).

My 13 month old son pulls this snail around all day long. He hasnt quite figured out the shape sorter but he likes playing with the pieces.

Got this as a gift for our friends childs first birthday. It was a hit! He loved dragging it around and watching the head Bob up and down, as well as trying to out the blocks in. The parents appreciated getting a pleasant-looking, high-quality wooden toy instead of something that would require batteries and make a lot of noise.
