Axiom Discs Pro 24-Chain Disc Golf Basket

I was concerned it would be a super lightweight version of what you play with on the course. Its not. It has same feel and function as the course baskets. If you have the space, the price would allow you to get a couple or more to start your own course. The material is durable enough to leave out, although the paint is starting to fade slightly after a long hot summer in the Pac NW high desert. Light enough to move without difficulty but heavy enough to withstand a good breeze. They will blow over in strong gusts but a couple of sandbags or stakes eliminate that problem. I will be buying more of these baskets.

Well closed courses and social distancing has given me an excuse to buy a practice basket for my backyard. I wanted one that was large enough to approximate baskets you might see at local courses. The axiom disc pro does the trick. It is sturdy and wont wobble around as you fire off discs into it. It basically assembles by just screwing the pieces together. No tools were needed. It came with some spikes to secure the basket, but I dont think they are necessary as I like to move my basket around. I wouldnt call it portable though as it is heavy. So lugging it to a local park is do-able but not necessarily easy. But if you want something for your backyard, this is perfect.

This basket met all my expectations and then some. We have had this for a few months and use it regularly. It has helped me with my putting and upshots big time and has been great for my son as well, playing around in the yard. Assembly is very quick and easy, which makes this great for moving around to different spots like we enjoy doing at local parks. One thing that is a con is that it is fairly heavy because of how awkward the shape is so I will probably be looking into a travel case for carrying it around from spot to spot eventually. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the game of disc golf.

I am very happy with this purchase. You never know what youre going to get until it arrives. You read reviews and hope for the best. Well, luckily this one checked-out A-OK! Its high-quality, plenty of weight and operates as you would expect. Mines been outside in the elements for several months showing no signs of rust or wear.

Good for catching things

If youre wanting to up your putting game, you need one of these in your backyard. Truthfully, I dont know how it stacks up against other brands or models. But I do know that this one is sturdy, pleasantly easy to assemble, and has good real-feel chain tension. Seriously, having a basket in my backyard has helped me get SO much better at putting. Get one and start practicing!

Mine came with a tiny chip in the paint up top which I was dissapointed about buying brand new & the box a little damaged but the rest was fine. Good solid quality other than that.

These baskets are great. I’ve had a few for about five years now. They are easy to take apart and put together again for transport. Definitely don’t over-tighten when putting together because I broke some of the welds holding the nuts and bolts that are inside the tubes. Overall, a great basket for $150.
