> 24 hourMy family is in the New England area so winters get a bit cold. My wife has wanted a kotatsu ever since I described it to her and this one fits perfectly in our living room while having extra room in case of company. Its just high enough that we can sit on cushions and keep our feet under the tabletop, and it keeps us toasty warm.

> 24 hourWe were skeptical about buying a kotatsu on amazon, but so glad we did! Worth every cent during these cold winter nights. Replaced our coffee table with this and didn’t need an adapter for this specific kotatsu. The table is great quality and we put our own comforter on it for now, will buy a proper futon for it later. Works great.

> 24 hourI expected to get swindled but this table is excellent its solid sturdy beautiful and works as it should as a US customer I did spend $100 on a converter but I did not need it so theres a note for other US customers you dont need a converter

> 24 hourAfter living overseas for many years, the kotatsu table was a key piece to the furnishings. Living in the colder parts of the US and home heating prices going through the roof, was very happy to find this product. A little small, for a larger family you will need two if utilized as a substitute to the traditional kitchen table as we do. The power cord is appx 8 feet and works fine without an adapter. So far, very happy with the purchase!

> 24 hourMy Japanese wife loved it as her birthday gift. It brought back memories of her childhood falling asleep under it. Which she did the first evening she used it. Safe, comfortable and a great value.

> 24 hourI cannot express how much I like this table. I dont have central heating in my home, so during these cold months, this is a godsend. The tables plenty large enough for 1 person to lounge underneath with a quilt, assuming youre not over 6 ft tall. It was also very easy to assemble and didnt require any other tools other than the small wrench provided in the packaging. The construction is very simple, yet elegant. A beautiful shade of wood and its very lightweight. The table shipped very quickly, weeks before the estimated date, as a matter of fact. Again, I cannot stress how much I would recommend this table. If you like Japanese furniture or need a warm place to sit while you eat or use your computer or if youre just a weeb like myself who enjoys living that gaijin life, pick you up one of these. In all seriousness, youll definitely get the most bang for your buck with this. Ive seen listings asking for thousands of dollars for practically these same tables. Another thing I would recommend would be a transformer. The power cable I received with my table does fit an American outlet, but I would recommend using a 500w transformer/converter just to be on the safe side. No issues so far after nearly a month of use. Would recommend!

> 24 hourMy family and I absolutely love our kotatsu. Super easy to assemble, very sturdy and we find ourselves sitting underneath it every night. A must-have if you live in a cold climate like me.

> 24 hourIts a bit costly considering you still need a voltage converter and theres not even a mat or comforter included with it, so that docked off a star for me. Plus I feel like the legs arent as sturdy as they should be and you have to be really careful about moving the table, otherwise they might come off or get damaged (according to the directions too, its small yet requires two people to safely move). Overall, its very pretty looking and I am enjoying my kotatsu heater during these winter months!
