> 3 dayWe got the teething giraffe as a present when my son was first born, and when his teeth started coming in at around 5 or 6 months he showed absolutely no interest in it, but would try to chew on other things such as our knuckles, chin, empty water bottles. I figured since he had hated pacifiers from the start, it was only normal hed hate sophie and other teething toys such as the ones you put in the freezer. I bought this one to start getting him used to the idea of oral hygiene, but it turned out to be an amazing teething toy, and probably what helped him through the rough days of tender gums. Its nice that he can chew any part of the toy and it is so easy for him to handle it. The only bad thing about it, which some people have previously mentioned, is that the material that is made out of attracts a lot of lint/dust/hair/dirt so I do have to rinse it off/wipe it down if it comes in contact with those things. But because he can hold it so well, it doesnt fall that often. He is almost 8 months and still enjoys it, always chewing on it. Bonus: People always comment on how cute it is and ask questions about it.

> 3 dayMy daughter LOVES this banana toothbrush. Almost as much as she loves chewing on her paintbrushes. I got this to persuade ger to xhew this instead. Works 3/5 times, so we are getting there. She does not reject its presence in her mouth, which is a bonus for future toothbrushing.

Greater than one weekMy baby loves this blue banana! We added brushing to our six month old’s bedtime routine right after bath time, just to get him in the habit of oral hygiene early. I brush his gums gently with this banana and after just the first night, he sees the banana coming an opens his mouth right up for it. It’s easy for him to hold so I’m going to get another one in a different color for him to use as a teething toy during the day!

> 3 dayThis is my sons favorite teether. When I got it I expected only the top to be squishy, but the entire thing is made of silicone so it is great for a baby to teethe on. Its easy for baby to hold and the peel handles keep baby from choking themselves with it. My son is 8 months old and has 7 teeth now and he hasnt chewed off any bristles or pieces and he adores this banana. He loves to use it on the back of his gums and has never been a fan of ring teethers. We do have pets and the silicone does attract hair/fur very easily, but we make sure to keep it clean and off the floor and a good teether does wonders for my childs mood so it is all too worth it. This is perfect and cute, thanks! UPDATE: My son is now 11 months and has 9 teeth and even with all of its use he has not bitten anything off. Its a hit and we keep buying it for friends. With a little baby toothpaste on the end he will go to town with it. He even shows his teeth for me now if I try to brush them with it. I dont think I would recommend it as your primary toothbrush, but it does help baby to be comfortable with having their teeth brushed. I can brush my sons teeth with a soft bristle brush now with no problems because he has been used to me brushing his gums with the banana for so long.

> 3 dayAfter looking for (and trying) various baby teethers, I came across the Baby Banana and decided to buy one for my then 4 month old. He was at the stage where he wanted to constantly chew on something with his gums. If your baby is at the grab and put everything in mouth stage, THIS is the toy/teether for you. My baby is now 6 months old and this is still his favorite toy/teether to play with. It keeps him busy for a good 20-30 minutes (which all parents know is pretty crazy). The conventional round shaped teethers are useless in my opinion. The baby can never properly fit the round teethers in their mouth and just get frustrated. This is even MUCH BETTER than Sophie the Giraffe. My baby chewed on Sophies leg the first 2 days, and then lost interest. Theres something about the Baby Banana that he loves. It really helps massage & soothe his gums. If your baby likes chewing on your fingers or his own - THIS IS the teether to get. Its shaped just like a finger, and your baby can reach the back gums and poke it around. Round teethers wont help soothe the gums deep inside. This thing is so baby friendly its amazing. The handles give a really good grip to the baby, and the baby can chew on both ends, as well as the handles. The peel shaped handles also allow you to put those plastic links through, so you can hang the banana onto the babys clothes or stroller or seat, and it wont fall to the ground. (Sophie doesnt have anything to attach to). My baby really has a go at it, you can hear the silicone squeaking against those baby gums. Im just happy I found the PERFECT teether to soothe my babys gums. He still doesnt have teeth yet, so Im sure he will be able to chew off the bristle shaped head when he gets a couple of teeth. I would buy 2, keep one at home, and one in the baby bag. Make sure you wash the bristles thoroughly though, because little threads or fuzz can get trapped between bristles, but its very easy to clean. Highly recommend this. Probably the only teether you need!

> 3 dayThis banana is a life saver. It helped when my baby was teething a few years ago. It has recently become my favorite thing to add when I’m giving a gift to new parents! Totally recommend!!

Greater than one weekMy six month old legit loves this!!! My preference as a teether bc u can’t stick the whole thing in his mouth so I’m not worried about him gagging or choking!

> 3 dayWhen I was putting together my baby registry, I had NO idea what to put on there besides the main items (which was pretty much whatever Amazon recommended...thank you Amazon!). Anyways, a friend went through my list and said, You need more stuff on here! So she sent me a bunch of items to be included, this being one of them. Honestly, my first thought was, this is stupid, why would I need a fake toothbrush? However, the price was reasonable, I had a lot of friends who just graduated from grad school so I figured this would be a nice to have on the list. No one bought it and I thought, hooray! I dont need more useless things. Well my baby was born and at 4 months, teething began (breastfeeding class never covered the pain of breastfeeding a teething baby!). She chewed on everything. A cousin bought me teething rings, she didnt really like those. I bought toys with those teethers. She got bored of them quickly. Then, I remembered the banana brush (I mean, who can forget such a thing!) and decided to try it out. All these positive reviews cant be wrong, right? I am sorry I doubted all you positive reviewers. This thing has been awesome! She loves to chew on it and will chew on it for at least 10 minutes. Do yourself a favor, dont be a dummy like me, and buy this.
