The plush elephant part of it has stitched on eyes so it will be safe if your baby puts it in their mouth. The edges of the blanket are satin trimmed and silky feeling. I would definitely recommend this product.

Greater than one weekMy kiddo loves this lovey. It is soft, and the octopus is adorable. The outer material is plush, and the bottom side is satiny (like the rim on the outside). There is no noisemaker/rattle, which is a HUGE plus to me, as it does not make noise if my son rolls around while hes sleeping. These would make cute baby shower gifts.
