> 3 dayWe absolutely love this chair. Our 4 month old daughter fits comfortably in it and she loves to bounce in it (and there is PLENTY of room to grow). My only disappointment is that we didnt make this purchase earlier! We mostly use the play angle of the seat, but it would have been amazing to allow her to sleep in when she was a newborn. We have purchased all kinds of seats trying to find one that our daughter liked, including the mamaRoo, and she prefers this over everything. And the added bonus is how nice it looks in our home (it fits well with our home decor vs. other products that have the baby look - not that there is anything wrong with that!). Like I said, we purchased at least 5 other different bouncers/seats for our baby and this is the one she loves. I put off purchasing this one for so long because of the price, but in the end I should have just started with this one! If price is your only hesitation, stop hesitating and buy this! Your baby will love it and it will look great in your home.

> 3 dayWe didn’t think we needed a bouncer because we had a swing, rock n play, and other spots to put baby. Man, were we wrong! We visited my sister when my son was 3.5 months old and plopped him in her Bjorn. He looooved it. We knew we needed our own, so we found one on Amazon (on sale!!). What a life changer. My son is very high needs, always wanting to be held and bounced. This bouncer allowed us to eat dinner together without holding a baby, and I could do laundry and get things done!! Game. Changer. I’m so mad we didn’t have this for the first four months of his life as they were so very challenging on me as a stay at home Mom. He’s now 6 months old and LOVES his bjorn still. This is a must have. UPDATE: my son is now a year old and I still use this bouncer daily. It’s the only way I’m able to shower!! So nice having a comfy, fun, safe spot to plop my son down when I need to get things done. We still love it so much!!

> 3 dayI bought this a year ago before my son was born, not really knowing if it would be useful, but taking the risk. It ended up being probably the best purchase we made for our baby! He used it from about 6 weeks until 6 months when he began to sit on his own. We moved across the country when he was 3 months and the lightweight, compact portability of this bouncer saved us. Our son was a picky baby amd hated being strapped into anything; the carseat led to horrible hard-to-catch his breath meltdowns, the stroller resulted in crying fits, and forget the high chair. However, he adored sitting in this bouncer, kicking his feet and bouncing around. It saved our sanity many times. He also had to be on antibiotics for awhile at 5 months, and the only way he let us give them to him was when sitting in this chair. I am actually sad that we had to retire it until he is old enough to use the toddler side. Lastly, we washed the fabric at least twice a week due to spit up or diaper leaks and it still looks great! Yes, it is a slight pain to have to hang it to dry, but we found that washing it at bedtime and hanging overnight usually was sufficient to be able to use it by the next morning. Overall, I know that every baby has different likes and dislikes, but this worked so well for us that I felt compelled to write this review!

> 3 dayPrior to our baby being born, we purchased a swing because I had previously read you do not need both a swing and a bouncer. However, our son doesn’t like his swing because buckling him in makes him fussy, and even though our swing has a detachable rocker, it is too heavy for me to conveniently carry around. Because our son has reflux, we have to hold him upright for 20-40 minutes after each feeding. This was taking up so much time every day I finally gave in and purchased this bouncer after reading the great reviews because the incline looked similar to holding him in our arms. The nurse hotline at our pediatrician office said a bouncer didn’t count as holding a child upright, but in my experience, it has worked perfectly for reflux. Not only is this the perfect place to set our son after feeding, he LOVES this bouncer and many times this is the only thing that calms him down when he is upset. There have been been nights where he refuses to go to sleep in my arms but will fall asleep immediately in this. Since it is not a safe sleeping device, I simply put him into bed once he falls asleep. I would recommend a Baby Bjorn bouncer to any new parent, and it is a must-have for any parent of a baby with reflux. The toy attachment is expensive but absolutely worth it. If this works for your baby, I would also recommend buying an extra cover. Since it can not go in the dryer, it took almost an entire day to air dry, and if you use this as much as we do, you will not want to wait two days for the cover to arrive. On the plus side, both spit up and pee easily came out in the wash, and the cover looked good as new! Note: I will say that I almost returned the bouncer after I saw the hideous warning label on the front of the bouncer that cannot be removed. It is unfortunate that a few people ruined it for everyone because the warnings are common sense and also highlighted in the instruction manual. I almost deducted a star for the label, but after further research found that it is actually required for all bouncers made after 2018 based on a new consumer safety law.

> 3 dayI cant say enough good things about this bouncer - it was seriously the only thing chair we could keep my son in during the first 8 weeks that he would not cry in. Also, I have no idea why, but for some reason it was really helpful to him for gas / bowel movements. My husband and I called it the poop chair because anytime he was fussing over gas pains or hadnt gone yet, we could put him the chair, bounce him a little bit (which he was very happy to have us do) and the issue would work itself out. Its extremely portable and small so easy to move from room to room or even throw in the car and take with you and you can bounce it with your foot if youre eating / doing something with your hands. I seriously debated buying this chair just because it doesnt look like much and its so expensive, but it turned out to be one of the best things I bought. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayIf we could give this product ten stars we would. We had our first child in August and after the first month our pediatrician had us go to urgent care because “it isn’t normal” for baby to cry for six hours straight every day. Of course the urgent care doctor merely sympathized with us and told us to strap in for the next 3, possibly 6 months. Cue a casual menty B (mental breakdown) for mom. Our daughter hated the side to side swing another parent recommended, but liked when dad did squats while holding her - however dad said this was not a long term solution. Mom realized baby liked an up down motion - enter the Baby Bjorn Bouncer. Baby no longer fusses for hours every day - mom and dad now have some semblance of their mental health back. Our only wish is that it could be motorized, but on the other hand our calves are getting real swole.

> 3 dayI borrowed a baby bjorn babysitter balance when I had my first child 4 year ago. I liked it, but I has to give it back when we were done with it. With my 2nd child, I bought a cheap bouncer that I thought would do just as a good a job. Nope! I just bought the bjorn balance and now Im happy. The legs on the cheap bouncers stick out- everyone who came near that bouncer tripped. It didnt adjust up or down and you couldnt fold it easily for travel. The bjorn really is bouncy, so even though theres no battery powered vibration on it, my baby loves being it. She loves kicking to make it move. Highly recommend. Also, if you are looking at the balance and babysitter. They are about the same overall. The babysitter has a reversible seat so if you get tired of brown/khaki (or your baby spit up on that side and you were too lazy to get up and wash it), you could flip it over to the all brown side for a new, clean look. :) the restraint unbuckled completely. If you flip the balance cover over, its just the seat without any restraint system so they call it a child seat.

> 3 dayMy son is what is referred to as a velcro baby. He will not let me put him down for even a moment without crying horribly. I spent 2 months unable to make myself food, comb my hair or even shower without him crying his little eyes out. I was exhausted but then...my mother suggested this little bouncer and everything changed! From the moment I put him in the chair he was calm and happy. Its very well made, easy to move from room to room and the cover is machine washable. The design is simple and brilliant. The straps can be put on with only one hand. Super easy to get him in and out. He is 4 months old now and starting to figure out that he can make it bounce. The cover is solid canvas and soft. Thebseems are very strong. It make zero sound while he bounces. I now have a moment here and there to do things around the house while my little man plays in a safe comfy little seat. Highly recommend!
