> 3 dayI’m on my third child and I’ve tried the lower end Fisher price bounce seats, the medium end Maxi Cosi, and now this higher end bounce seat. I like how the Bjorn is easy to use, has a nice bounce to it even with the light touch of a finger, and also has a good recline for a newborn unlike some seats where it’s too upright. One thing I absolutely hate about the design is the large plastic foot that’s located at the front. I’m always stubbing my foot or bumping into things with it when I move it around the house but I’m sure it has a lot to do with why it has a nice bounce and recline. I returned the maxi cosi seat for this since that one had a more upright position and slid all over my wooden floors. The best comparable seat to this would be the cheaper fisher price ones where it has the thin metal legs and options for vibration. I would opt for that if you don’t have the extra $ to shell out for this

> 3 dayThis is worth every penny and then some. My little one loves it. When she’s fussy it gives the perfect bounce to settle her down. I did not originally register for this, but bought it after she came. I was researching things to do for colic and, came across someone who suggested this. I can absolutely say it is a must have for us now! It’s light enough to carry around. It folds flat and, you can but attachments to put toys for play. It’s been our most used item these first few months. We love it!

> 3 dayI hesitated for a solid week on this purchase, read tons of reviews and finally bit the bullet. Our 8 week old had no where to hang out, he had started to out grow the pack-n-play bassinet (which was previously the best place to lay him) and I wasn’t comfortable with the position of his head and neck in his swing/bouncer combo enough to let him hang out and get things done like cooking and laundry. This bouncer is extremely light weight and easy to move from room to room while holding baby in my arms (not in bouncer) -we’ve even brought it to glamma’s for Christmas dinner- it collapses flat and could easily be moved out of the way. I grab this bouncer every time I shower and he’s able to bounce away while I keep an eye on him. Today I broke down and bought the toy bar after reading another 50 reviews and believe it’s only going to add to this gem. If I had known ahead of time I would have only purchased Sweden baby products as our doc-a-tot is another must have. I highly recommend registering or purchasing this! I purchased the mesh cover, I liked the idea of it being cool in the summer and was sold when I read quick drying as I imagine we may need to wash at some point.

> 3 dayI gave it 3 stars, as it’s quite expensive and I had high hopes for it…Unfortunately, our baby didn’t like it. She is very active, so I really hoped she’ll keep herself occupied and bouncing in this ‘chair.’ Instead, every time I put her in there, she looked unhappy and even started crying… I guess, either she’s too young for it or it’s just not her cup of tea. Every baby is different.

16-04-2025Given that infant chairs and rockers are available for much much less ( $26 and up) I was very skeptical of buying this at $200. I ultimately decided to try it because others I tried werent suitable for newborns who cannot hold their necks up yet. My babys head, neck and spine would slouch in those chairs and she would be uncomfortable. However, BabyBjorns bouncer bliss is truly an amazing bouncer chair, and, being the only one of its kind, is worth the premium. We got it when my daughter was 6 weeks and it was perfect for her posture even then! No slouching head, or spine. I also prefer the natural bounce of this bouncer, versus battery operated motorized ones. My daughter could gently rock it by her own movements even when she was 6 weeks old. Now she is four months and vigorously rocks it with her own kicks. She loves it! Its light, which makes it very portable. We travel with it all the time for overnight trips. Only con - the frame though sturdy is light. It would bend out of shape if subjected to too much force. Bottomline - this bouncer is perfect for newborns who cannot hold their heads, unlike other chairs where their head and spine slouch, and great if you prefer the natural bounce of a rocker resulting from the infants own movements. However, if you are shopping for an infant who can hold her neck up (3-4 months or older) and are happy with a batter operated rocker, then less expensive chairs may suffice.

Greater than one weekMy infant dislikes being put down, but he stays a decent amount of time in this bouncer without crying out for me. Only thing I disliked was that I have only used it once and it started and the cover started pilling because of my infants kicking. For the price I didn’t expect it to pill so quickly.

> 3 dayVery good quality build. Easy to adjust. Safe for the baby. Never had other experiences with different bouncers. Always felt and was told that a bouncer was not important and dispensable. Actually, I regret not buying it earlier, when my baby was a newborn. It helps when you need to do something quick and cannot have the baby in your arms, because it’s very portable. Recommend to any parents, buy a good bouncer before your baby is born, and this is the best bouncer available, it is something like the iPhone of the bouncers. Expensive, good quality and great used selling price.
