Greater than one weekGreat design: easy to clean, sturdy but the splash guard is just a bit high for a girl to climb over. Daughter is 2 and leery of backing up and sitting on the chair because she accidentally came down once on the splashguard while trying to sit. I feel like I have to help her carefully sit down each time. For the record, she is very tall for her age so it isnt because she is too short. Love the chair but she doesnt want to use it so all the well-designed features are irrelevant for us. She chooses her grandmas 1940s potty chair to use instead. Wish the splashguard was removable.

> 3 dayFirst off, I love that its solid [read: heavy duty] white plastic with simple black trim. My first is a 2 1/2 girl and we are expecting a boy in August so I will not have to go out and buy another potty (my mother-in-law will probably have to replace her Disney Princess one though). May appear boring to some who want to make potty training fun for their little ones but I personally like the neutrality and the fact that it blends so effortlessly into our mostly white bathroom. And my daughter seems to like it regardless. Secondly, I like that the insert is easily removed for emptying, can fit in the dishwasher for easy cleaning/sanitizing and has a bit of a lip to it for little boys when sitting. I only wish the potty itself didnt have a lip around the bottom because it collects dirt/dust/etc... and that has to be wiped regularly but its not a big deal since the potty is small. Its sturdy, comfortable, looks a lot like a grown up potty which has been a help for us in training our daughter. Some other pottys have a fold down lid so the potty can be used as a step-stool and that seems like a neat feature that the Bjorn does not have, but I just bought the matching Bjorn step-stool and it works very well. Might actually be better to have them separate- we transition from potty to the sink to wash our hands without having to move anything. Plus the Bjorn step has very good rubber tread on it and a wide enough surface that I have no anxiety about my kids slipping. I also bought the travel potty seat to place on a regular toilet and although we havent used it as much, I have the same compliments. Bought all three a year ago before we started potty training and although were still not seriously committed, our family really likes these products and they are working well for us. I highly recommend them! Amazon delivered all three quickly and with no damage to any of the products either. Price wasnt bad for what I expected of the Bjorn brand- only recently saw the same potty selling at Sears for $16 on clearance.

Greater than one weekI just got this a few weeks ago and while my son hasnt started fully using it, I love the quality. I like that it stays put, it matches the regular toilet by being white (so hopefully less confusion later) and has the splash guard in the front, especially since we have a boy. Wont be disapointed and it will last for more than one child.

> 3 dayThis potty has it all: sturdy bottom that doesnt slide, a wide base and seat for my large daughter, attractive colors. Its best feature is that the potty itself is easy to remove and get clean -- a godsend, in my opinion.

> 3 dayThis product is well made, sturdy, and a good value. My 2-yr-old son is starting to sit on it. He is a stocky 35 pounds, and has no problems getting himself situated on the seat unassisted. (Actually using it is a work in progress!) The rubber grip bottom works well, the seat is easy to clean, and seems to be ergonically designed for actual users of the product rsther than any other reason. We are very pleased with this purchase.

> 3 dayWe bought our daughter a different brand potty chair with a soft seat and a lid. She hated it and cried every time I opened it. So we went to a store (didnt get ours from amazon.com) and she picked out this one. She likes it a lot. Its convenient and comfortable for her, and easy to clean for me. I do wish it had a softer seat because if shes reading a book on the potty chair for a few minutes and gets up, her butt has a red mark from sitting so long.

> 3 dayThis is a great concept in potty chairs. It’s sturdy, creates a secure feeling. The higher back and arm rests are a great idea.

Greater than one weekI am using it to train my grandson.. He is big for his age and the chair would be better for him if it was a little bit larger but other than that it is fine.
