You can barely feel the straps on your shoulders. It can take a beating when it comes to slinging it around. I would recommend this product.

Very comfortable and can accommodate large books and a laptop with ease. I love all the pockets and zipperes sections. The straps have nice padding making it easier to tote around when full. I would highly recommend this to a student who needs to carry lots of books or requires space for different needs.
