UPDATE- I’ve gotten used to the scent and now I don’t mind it at all! Great for wintertime and keeping my hands in good shape. Just wish it had a nicer scent.

Ordered this to rub on my dogs rough paws. I think it has helped soften the roughness. I must admit I am not on a regular schedule for doing this however.

It has a medicated sort of smell to it. But it doesnt bother me. In fact I prefer it. It works awesome! It helped clear my dogs SUPER dry cracked skin. She had no fur. Now her fur is growing back and her skin is soft. My boyfriend had really dry cracked hands to from touching sanitizing produced. He had scratched that would bleed around his knuckles because of it. After about a month or two his hand are so soft and no longer hurt him I recommend this product 100 percent.

Had never heard of this product but my Vet suggested using it on my dog and it works perfectly.

I bought this for my newborn sons diaper rash. It did an INCREDIBLE job. For a whole day I had been using a&d ointment and then tried butt paste with no improvement to his rash. It even looked worse from the start. I read a mom blog somewhere about how this was her go to and what a miracle this stuff is and thought I should try. Im so glad I did. It was a pretty gnarly, gonna call the doctor tomorrow if its not better, type of rash and within12 hours the rash was 95% better. My son has sensitive skin and this stuff did not bother him at all. Im going to start gifting this at baby showers because it is incredible. I do not have any dry patches of skin to try it on but I did try it on my dry lips and it made them very smooth and moisturized. I HIGHLY recommend.

I did a lot of research for dry foot. My chinchilla had a terrible reaction to this where she drooled excessively for an hour and began shivering. Work great on human skin but smells like a farmhouse.

This is great for moisturizing and nourishing skin. I have used it over the years for lips and hands mostly. Recently I suffered a foot injury where my foot and leg have to be bandaged, causing blistering and chafed, painful skin. Bag balm is incredibly soothing and healing for this condition and I don’t know what I would do without it. It is also used in the wound Center where I am being treated. I bought it as Christmas presents for several friends this year and they love it too. Would not want to be without it.

Im a backwoods country girl, so Ive been using bag balm for years, but Im also an RN, and cant even tell you how many times Ive recommended this to patients for stubborn skin conditions. Its one of the absolute best remedies for external fungal infections, much better than prescription remedies. If you use it every day after you bathe, it will cure even the worst case of athletes foot in a couple of months (make sure you get it around and under your toenails). When I was using it after a pedi-from-hell, I accidentally discovered it also cures plantars warts– mine had been getting worse for about fifteen years, but it vanished completely. That was a few years ago, and theres no sign of it coming back!
