> 24 hourI needed some extra space in the kitchen and I saw this Bakers Rack so I decided to give it a try. Now that I have it set up in my kitchen, I had enough space to to do some Holiday baking, so I made some waffles! The Bakers Rack is constructed of black metal framing with a laminated rustic wood grain inserts. It provides a worktop suitable for various baking projects such as making cookies, pies or waffles. There is storage underneath for appliances such as food processors, stand mixers and blenders. Both lower shelves are fully supported and can support heavy items. The rack is compact and would find a spot anywhere extra work space is needed. The working area can hold a cutting board or a pastry/pasta rolling board, but the supplied surface is easy to clean with household wax cleaners. The Bakers Rack works well as intended but could easily be repurposed to be a perfect bar area with a wine rack on the shelves below and glasses hung on the wire rack just below the uppermost shelf. It took about an hour to put the Bakers Rack together. The parts bag includes all parts and tools needed. The various parts are conveniently separated into their own bags, and each bag is marked with a sticker for easy identification. The instructions are easy to follow. Some of the parts require proper orientation and this is noted by easy-to-miss markings in the diagrams. Some free floor space is needed to complete the build. The included instruction have pictures which are divided into 15 simple steps. The steps below were notes to myself that describe the picture steps. Step 1: Locate the side panels and attach four adjustable feet. Step 2: Attach the remaining two feet to the base panel. Step 3: Attach the side panels to the base panel. Note the orientation of the side panels. There are two holes near the top of the panels and they should be both facing the same direction. The best way attach the panels is to have the floor support them while the base panel is orientated on its edge. Step 4: Attach the small square panel. Note the orientation - The small circle indents should be facing the shorter direction at the upper part of the panel. Step 5: Place middle shelf and attach to the small square panel. Note you need to attach two screws to the middle shelf panel and align them with the square panel already in place. Step 6: Attach middle shelf. Use two provided round wooden stickers to cover the silver hardware. Step 7: Assemble and attach the rear cross-beam support. Step 8: Attach both worktop crossbeams. Step 9: Attach rear top shelf supports. Step 10: Attach worktop panel. Step 11: Attach rear crosshatch design panel with design flush against the front. Step 12: Attach top shelf panel. Note the orientation of the screw holes underneath since this will affect placement of the wire rack. Step 13: Attach the wire rack to the top shelf panel. Step 14: Arrange hooks along crosshatch panel area or on side panels. Step 15: Move the assembled Bakers Rack to its final location and attach to a wall using provided hardware.
