I bought a townhouse that smelled awful. The original owners smoked in the house for close to 50 years, and there was a massive German Roach infestation (they also smell awful). I gutted the place and literally washed the studs & put in new drywall and you could still smell smoke and roach. Over the last 2 years Ive tried all kinds of things including enzymes that are supposed to neutralize smell and a machine that is supposed to. Nothing worked. But these did. Its been about 2 weeks and not only did they eliminate the bad smell, now the house smells like spices. I leave coffee and spices out. After 2 years, I finally found something that works and Im shocked it was such a simple and healthy solution.

Bought a 90 yalear old home with its old earthy smell. Put these bags in each room and within a week smell gone. Will nuy many more and recommend highly

These work great to deodorize a new apartment. Thee we best part is that they absorb moisture and they won’t harm my animals like other sprays:) also, they won’t stain my walls like candle smoke!!!!

This cute little packets of charcoal work like magic to eliminate odors in closets, powder rooms, basements, etc. The garage/trash can odor isnt completely neutralized but it is much improved.

I am still seeing good things about this product… However, it did not work out for me like I wanted it to. It could be that I did not activate them correctly or maybe I wasn’t using the product properly.. not sure. But Vergali has great customer service and they really did make sure they kept in contact with me trying to troubleshoot and to make sure I was satisfied. They definitely stand by this product and wanted it to work for me. They made the return easy and I do appreciate that. It was an “old” smell in this old townhouse(closets) that I had moved into that I was trying to get rid of and I think this is probably the hardest to get rid of because I’ve tried everything. I want to add that the bags themselves are completely orderless and small enough to “hide” anywhere…

Like these odor tamers a lot. Just hang in closets to take out the odors. You must renew them every two months by setting in sun for a couple of hours. Very easy!

So far they don’t seem to have kicked is as I expected. Maybe it just takes some time.

I have ordered thousands of items from Amazon and have never written a review…till now! We recently had in-laws stay with us for 5 months in a small studio. Basically a glorified bedroom with its own entrance and en-suite, but attached to our house. Bacon, sausage or other greasy, fatty meat was cooked on a hot plate multiple times per week (our mistake for providing it in the first place). They left a couple weeks ago and I’ve been besides myself trying to get the stale grease smell out. Everything washable has been laundered multiple times, walls, floors, furniture and ceilings have been scrubbed with vinegar, then bleach, then sprayed with air freshener and then all over again. Baking soda has been placed strategically. It was about 50% better but was still stinking up the rest of the house. I was ready to torch the place and bought these charcoal packs out of desperation. Put them out in the afternoon sun yesterday afternoon and then hung them strategically around the room and closed it up for the night. This morning I went in to open everything up for the daily airing out routine and the smell was GONE! I couldn’t believe it. Not sure if it’s possible, but it’s like the smell was sucked out of the walls! These little miracle packets will always be in stock in my house from now on.
