> 3 dayWhen I first tried them, I didnt think I was going to like them at all. Once I got used to them, though, without having to shuffle between double pointeds or even magic loop, my speed at sock knitting improved noticeably. I did switch to DPNs for the heel/gusset and to hold the stitches for the Kitchener bind-off, but the cuff, leg, and foot portions flew by. Also, since there is no switching between pairs of needles, the dreaded laddering is a thing of the past.

> 3 dayI really like the wood needles vs the steel ones, less chance of your yarn falling off the needles

> 3 dayThese are incredibly small and unless you have extremely small hands, difficult to use.

> 3 dayPerfect size for knitting small items in the round that you usually have to use double pointed needles to do.

> 3 dayJust kidding but, they are pretty small. When I first saw them, I laughed because they seem kind of ridiculous. I wondered how long it would take to get the hang of them. It didnt take long at all, actually. Casting on is a bit of a drag but then again, its always my least favorite part. I dont think its harder but because of the size, it took me a bit longer. Knitting with them feels pretty intuitive and is actually fun. They make the cutest little stitches too. Now, I have fairly small fingers (size 4 on my ring finger) so I honestly dont know if that makes it easier for me to use them but maybe. If you are a beginner, you probably arent going to buy these right now anyway but if you do, there probably will be a learning curve. I do wish the metal to bamboo had a smoother transition as it seems like it rubs my finger slightly. I have some Addi Turbo circulars as well but they dont seem to rub like that. Could just be me. I actually prefer these Takumis over the Addis though. I wish they would make these in an 8 length but I guess Ill just have to break out the DPNs. Anyway, I call these my Super Tiny Fun Needles because they are just that. Fun to knit with and adorable as well!

> 3 dayThe needles were fine & good quality. I just had trouble using the small loop with my knitting. If I had more time to get used to them, I would have continued using them. As it was, I was in a hurry & went back to using two circular needles to knit my sleeves in the round.

> 3 dayVery nice. Ordered it to be able to knit socks in the round (for the most part). A little too short for working the toe part (had to switch to double pointed needles, but otherwise I was not disappointed. Took them on a trip with me, and once I got used to working with the short length, my speed increased, I wasnt dropping my double pointeds (as usual) and could stash the whole thing right in my purse. Very nice needles
