Purchased as a White Elephant Christmas gift. My family loves the game. We have had lots of fun playing it at home and on vacation. Great addition to Family Gane Night!

Im a librarian and we bought three sets of Bananagrams for a games camp were doing this summer. It was the hit of the week! The adult assistants were actually ignoring the kids so they could play their own game. I do think it may be a bit frustrating to play if the people involved have completely different vocabulary levels, but my eight year old does very well playing with my husband. You see, I swiped one of the bananas and took it home. (Just dont tell......)

Fun family game. Much faster than a game of Scrabble and everyone of any skill level can play. I like the fact that everyone gets their own set of letters and creates their own board. It is very interesting to see the words that your kids and friends create. Highly recommended.

This game is so much fun. I rarely have time to play games. This one you can play in 5-10 minutes. Its somewhat like Scrabble, but I think way more fun. Players can talk about their letters with other players unlike in Scrabble. I purchased two of the games, and gave one to my daughter who moved 120 miles away. We can play together on Skype. I love it!

Having played Bananagrams with friends, I was expecting a simular quality from Amazon. Unfortunately, this one was very cheaply made. The tiles for the game I experienced were lovely. The ones I received were cheap looking and feeling. The underside of the tiles were hollowed out. I would not give it to my granddaughter for Christmas, so I bought another Bananagrams game for her from Target. As a result, I will use the cheap, crappy one as a house game.

I use this with EFL and Native Speaker classes in Israel. The kids love the game and it has really helped them acquire new words and improve their spelling! We keep a dictionary on hand to check whether words are legal and they discover even more words in the process. Its a perfect way to make learning fun and to break the routine. However, one package is not enough (our classes are very large) and it makes sense to split the class into several game areas.

The product came much faster than anticipated. We love the game and it was just as advertised, perfect for travel and great for playing when the neighbors come over. What a great educational tool and a great way to pass the hours while waiting for a flight.

This game is a lot of fun. I liked it a lot more than regular scrabble because you dont have to wait your turn everyone gets to play at the same time.
