(The Band Of Brothers is an amazing show, this review is for Amazon packing and shipping.) I don’t know if this was by accident or by design, but the image is clearly a box set that you pay extra for, but I received (image). Very disappointing and frustrating.

Well I finally found the time to watch the series, and was pretty bummed to find out disc 3 wont play at all. I didnt think Id have a problem with a brand new movie or I would have watched sooner. Too late to return it. 1 stars since its not even a complete set now..

This is one of the finest DVD collections I have ever watched. In fact I have watched it several times. I really enjoy it because I always think of my Dad when Im watching it.

This is one of the best movies ever! I hope everyone is able to view this movie to see how much our veterans loved this country and what they were willing to sacrifice to keep all of us free.

This review and 1 star rating is not reflective of the actual Band of Brothers miniseries. That is a fantastic show and so well done. Rather, the 1 star reflects upon the US Amazon selling a version made overseas (specifically Ireland) that DOES NOT WORK with Blu-ray players in the United States! What an epic hassle to find this out and have to return it. Do better, Amazon. Everyone else, skip this edition and look elsewhere.

My father was one of the Greatest Generation. He fought in the same campaigns as those in Easy Company (although he was in the field artillery).

Saw the original series on HBO and was impressed with the authenticity of the production, the acting, the historical accuracy and the realism of the scenes. Parts are not for the faint of heart but if one wishes to understand the how horrible and unforgettable war can be this is for you. Many scenes will be remembered long after viewing. The music is haunting and does not overwhelm the scenes as it does in so many other productions. Should be required viewing for all the WWII nuts out there.
