Banjo LS100-80 Polypropylene Y Strainer, 80 Mesh, 1 NPT Female

I used this to replace a higher priced filter that developed a leak. While it does not have as much filtration, it is working fine and was priced much lower.

I plumbed the 1 model into my home water system to remove fine particles of shale that come up from our well. It works great and can easily be flushed out into a bucket. No filters to change.

The unit is very large but that wasnt a problem in my application. One of the threaded female fittings seemed to be a bit misshapen and I was concerned that it would not mate properly to the male fitting of my system. But, with some force my plumber was able to make a good connection.

I needed a 1 strainer for a liquid packaging project and this works great!

Working as described

I tried over and over and over (six times) in four days to seal the output side threads to hold water. Now I have nothing on that system. Im looking for a similar capacity strainer, and that is proving difficult. Im guessing that the advertized operating temperature range is causing the failure. After it was installed the third time and began to leak it was noted that the temp. rating on the strainer and the info on the computer dont match. We are operating at 120 degrees F.. I purchased (2) of these, and the other is on a closed loop with a maximum temp. of 90 degrees F. and it has held so far. But needless to say, I am keeping a close eye on that one.

Installed this on my sprinkler field from the aerobic system. Keeps the spray heads clean and functioning with only filter maintenance vs. cleaning spray heads. Great product.

Using this on 1 PVC pipe feeding a 650gph pump for hydroponics. Works good. I threaded a mpt/slip adapter and had zero leaks there or at the top of the strainer. Its pretty durable and is a good deal for the price compared to others online....about 1./4 of the price and Id definitely buy more of these.

With a 1 male-male brass fitting, I was able to install this directly onto my water softerner (line into the house). No leak (with plumber tape) and no reduction in water pressure.

Great product. Came much faster than stated too.
