I too concur with all the other positive reviews. Ive used this product for 10 years and am so nervous they will stop making it. I now cannot find it in any stores but I religiously buy this on Amazon. I too believe its the best facial wash Ive EVER used and Ive tried many. No residue, no tight skin, great price. All other cleansers that Ive tried either were too drying, not enough cleansing, not tough enough on make up (even gets off Urban Decay eye liner!!) and in comparisons with so many other brands over the years, this is still the best one on the market. I always wondered why it never makes InStyles Best Products List but it sure is on my best product list and it will remain there.

With the recent ban of the antibiotic triclosan in acne face wash products, I needed to find a replacement for my Nivea face wash the worked great for my type of skin. After doing some research, I found some posts of some people in the same predicament that mentioned they found this product as a good replacement. It was inexpensive so I gave it a shot, and so far it seems to be working well! It cleans and leaves the skin feeling moist and not dried out. It has a nice light natural fragrance, which only last while cleaning, I dont notice it once I dry my face. I am usually sensitive to most items with fragrance, but this one didnt bother me at all. It is a great price and works, I just hope that Amazon keeps selling this product for a long time! This isnt billed as an acne wash, so I dont think it has an antibiotic in it, so for some people it may not be strong enough for their skin condition, but since it is relatively inexpensive it is worth a try, I believe a lot of acne is caused by overly dry skin which causes more oil production, so I think this product helps by keep the skin moist after cleaning.

I have used Basis for about 20 years - it is the best face wash and can also be used for everything else! I bring this exclusively when I travel, because you can wash anything, even your hair. It has a light scent that goes away and is great for sensitive skin. I buy the 3 pack and put two in the fridge until I need them, to keep them fresh.

I absolutely love this face wash and have been using it for YEARS. Back when it was still sold in stores. This is the first time I’ve had anything wrong as it truly might be one of the best face washes out there. This time, however, when I order my 3-pack, I realized that the smell was VERY different. It did not smell like it’s typical light refreshing lemongrass scent. Maybe I got a bad batch but it smells like grape children’s medicine. So not good. I thought maybe my batch expired because all three smelled the same but there’s is no expiration date on any. I’m a little disappointed because I truly sing this face washes praises. Please check on the formula for the scent you typically use because something is different.

Best face wash currently on the market. Takes makeup off completely, especially foundation....mascara too, but I still use by eye oil to remove mascara after washing (my choice). It foams up so much, you only need a small pea-size dollop to wash entire face. Some people say their face feels a bit dry after washing, but really this is just what clean feels like. After washing at night, I wake up to the most soft feeling skin. Ive noticed that in the am, my face has a nice tone. Ive used this product for over 12 years. The squeeze bottle used to be sold at Walmart but now they only sell the bar soap. I prefer the bottle and can only find it on amazon. I bottle lasts me 1 month of face washing 2x per day.

Yup, good face wash. I was one of those people that thought I was battling acne since my teen years. As it turns out, I dont have acne, I have sensitive skin--when I started treating it like sensitive skin, this amazing thing happened: it stopped rebelling against me! Current regimen: Wear long hair up or with a headband most days. Make sure to wash/rinse skin immediately after any exercise. Use exfoliating sponge daily. Wash with Basis in the AM Use Witch Hazel as a toner (Thayers) Use Fruit of the Earth Aloe as a moisturizer Thats it! Im now confidently make-up free most days :) I hope this helps someone that is struggling with their acne prone sensitive skin while reading reviews...
