BatteryMINDer 244CEC2-AA-S5: 24 Volt-4 Amp Concorde Aviation Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer, and Battery Desulfator

I got the 24 volt Battery Minder to keep the Concorde battery in my airplane charged between flights. I just works - no problems so far. I keep the battery plugged in when the airplane is in the hangar. So far no signs of over or under charging. I have had it around 3 months now. We will see if it lasts.

As advertised -- no hassle, no worry. Trouble-free charging, and it does make a difference. Having confidence on every start is a good thing.

The battery minder in my opinion is a must for aircraft owners/operators. I use this model on a turbine helicopter (for 6 years) and various airplanes (most recently a Cessna 206H). I have used the battery minder for over 5 years and have seen my battery life extended by almost twice the normal interval. The price is reasonable, when you consider the cost of replacing poorly maintained batteries

I bought a Cessna T192T ordering charger to keep battery maintained ready to fly. Battery (located in tail fuselage of plane) was found to be a Gill battery during annual / not pre-buy inspection; Concorde battery’s have different voltages, thus charger could not be used with Gill battery. I called manufacturer in New York, I was informed unit could be returned, for a nominal fee they would reprogram to work with Gill battery. I sent unit to them (brand new, power cord still factory coiled and tie wrapped). I rec’d a phone call a few days later with questions about return, why, any problems, etc. I explained my stupidity in not knowing battery when unit ordered; gave my CC, a few days later I rec’d a new correct charger for my battery. Great service from manufacturer, very supportive and very fair in working with me as my time had lapsed for returning unit from time I purchased airplane to annual date. Cannot sing praises enough for how unit works nor how I was treated with adjustment to secure correct charger for my Cessna T182T from the producer / manufacturer. Best charger and service in market today.

In March 2019, I purchased this Model 244CECI-AA-S5 24 Volt, 4 Amp CONCORDE Aviation Battery Charger Maintainer Desulfator when I replaced my original Concorde 24-15M Aviation battery and retired the original BatteryMinder that I had purchased in February 2008, and had used with that battery - which lasted eleven years, during which time I had flown the aircraft over 523 hours. The Chief of Maintenance was dumbfounded that it lasted more than five years! Im hoping that the new Concorde 24-15M battery will last another eleven years, with the assistance of my new, Concorde specific, BatteryMinder. ***** stars, for sure!

Excellent product!! Made specifically for the Concorde battery. I like the desulfate cycling. It keeps the battery charged and in top condition. With expesnse of the batteries, having this charger seems to be a great investment.
