B-D swabs are miles ahead of store brand swabs in terms of size and moisture; store brand swabs tend to be smaller and tend to dry up before I can use them. It has become harder and harder to find B-D swabs, so I turn to Amazon.

After using every type of swab I finally found the right one. Use it once and you will discard the others.

It is so hard to find a real alcohol swab anymore. The bi-fold ones are useless, in my opinion. These old-fashioned ones by BD are the very best.

These Are The Very Best Alcohol Wipes Made In My Opinion! BD Wipes Are Thick, Strong, And Wont Tear Or Bundle Up While Cleaning Fingers. And Always, So Far, Have Plentys Of Alcohol To Clean And Then Wipe Away Any Blood After Pricking Fingers. Ill Use BD Wipes As Long As I Can Find Them---PERIOD.

These are a bit pricey but are hands-down the best-in-class Ive ever seen. The pad is generously thick and always well-moistened. Well worth the price!

Probably the best alcohol swab out there. Thicker and softer than most others and carries more alcohol due to the thickness.
