Bear Archery Fred Bear DVD Collection, Multi

I would give this 5 stars if it played well on my TV home entertainment system. It skips around though so I have to view it on my computer instead. If you like the days of Fred Bear or are interested in his hunting and archery adventures then this is for you. Very exciting hunts including Fred stalking to within 30 yards of a Grizzly before sending an arrow home. Icludes interviews with Fred about the history of archery and a documentary of Bear Archery in the Grayling days. Videos are grainy old time movie quality because that was all the equipment of the day was capable of producing. Fred Bear truly was the father of modern archery and the modern hunting show. Eight hours of really good stuff.

Fiance really loved getting this for a gift, he loves Fred Bear, so this was the perfect gift for him

Love the old time ways

If youre reading this review then you have an interest in traditional archery, hunting, or American hunting history. This will fill all those interests. A small slice of bygone days, where life was simpler, and a lot slower. Fred Bear is a Legend and to be able to share several hours with him via this collection is the best youre gonna get until time travel is available. Considering that the footage is priceless, this set is a super bargain.

Amazing

Not as much hunting as he see nowadays but interesting still and watching an archery god is great in itself. Some episodes have more hunting than others. For the 20 to $24 range, this is well worth the watch especially if you like to see traditional archery hunting. Because Im not seeing it on TV now. Plus theyre honest some added benefits and interviews and stories that youll probably find appealing

I thought that I would be watching it with him however after 4 years I caught him cheating on me. 15 years older than me 70 years old go figure. had I known I would have kept it for myself. Fred Bear is who you think of when you think bow hunting! He is awesome! The footage is of his shows and hunting trips so it is old footage, which makes the collection even more superb! My fiancé has a recurve that he hunts with as well as compound. I envy anyone who can hunt and bring home dinner with a recurve. I recommend this to anyone wanting to see who made bowhunting!
